The kid is the same age like Coric who had Roger's number in Halle.

Unfortunately I could not watch the match (just saw the highlights) but I knew KK had a good shot. For all 2018 I am not that impressed with what I see from the big three (but that's another story).

KK is a big power player, but if you pay attention, you will see that his ground strokes are filled with top spin. He has a very extreme grip -- his forehand is closer to Nadal's than del Potro's -- actually is quite similar to Sock's. But with all that power, is an excellent weapon. All that top spin is why he is a good clay courter. The problem is that he was too hot headed, and his backhand was a three levels below. He got better in both accounts.

Also, as @herios noticed, he is very good at the net (he is a decent doubles player).

As I wrote a few days ago, I won't be fool enough to predict anything, but I don't think we cannot put a ceiling above any young player capable of winning big titles right now, as they're will be no big three to stop them in the future -- and if there is something that we can be sure is that no one will dominate like they did.

Come on. Nobody said of Federer in 2002, "hey, this dude is gonna win like... twenty slams." He was just another promising young dude of the day.

We have no clue how high any of these young guns can reach once they grab a major, which usually brings about a big shift in confidence. So even that one is nothing to be sure of.

Haters are tired of his continuous vulturing in this weak era.

The same could be said of Roger for many years as well! He's great and I give him all due credit for his accomplishments, but outside of Nadal 10 years ago, who really challenged him? He took 3 majors in a season 3 times back then! If not Del Po coming along, he would have done it again in '09! Why won't those same haters acknowledge the time Nole and Murray were out of the game this past season or so! Was it a weak era when Federer was "vulturing" his wins? I didn't say that, loving it really! ABN (anyone but Nadal) is my motto! :p

Roger collected himself some recently, no doubt. His last Wimbledon is one example. Not to speak about Nadal at his last USO.
So, please this vulturing nonsense is rubbish.

So Roger and Nadal vulturing makes Djokovic's vulturing Ok?
Tennis has failed to produce any talent in this decade. If three 30 year old keep winning the sport will die.

I don't disagree, but because you hate Nole, you sound as he is the only one to benefit of the current situation.

You’re not going to find an all-time great who didn’t “vulture” their fair share of titles. Great players dominate lesser players and hold their own against other great players. That’s how it works.

I don't hate Nole it's just that Federer and Nadal have hardly won anything recently while Djokovic has been cleaning up since Wimbledon.Won something like 30 sets straight.

Last Wimbledon and this AO to be exact but one has to give him AO17 as he won it playing at a level that deserved it.
