Everyones the real deal just after they won mate. Zverev will win enough stuff over future years... don't write him off... KK will likely be in the mix... Stefanos will be... maybe Shapo (I'm not quite as convinced on his upside as others) ,.and others too.. It's just good to see some of these young guys marking their card. I don't really think guys like Fritz are going to be big players like herios thinks, but we've got 10 years and more to find out.

Djokovic was pretty average today but KK took it to him and didn't freeze. Nice hands at the net (something I haven't really seen from him before)... Liked his composure.

I realize that, britbox but I don't think it's band wagoning this time round. He seems much more consistent all round than Zverev to me. I just don't like Zverev in general. Mopey annoying prick if you ask me :) Reminds me of Murray tbh.

One way to look at this is Nole'll have something to play for next year and can increase his lead being #1 if still on top by then!
First he has to get healthy and be fresh in London .

I don't like Zverev either and is hard to get over how much he underperformed in slams in comparison to his performance in 2 out of 3 matches.

No my point is that faker didn't play to win Paris but to block Fed.

He always peaks for Federer.

Never threw a stinker like 2013 USO against Federer.Always runs like a rabbit and serving and returning like a beast

I like Khachanov's confident swagger the way he just strolls on up to serve for the set and match as if to say "oh, I'm playing the world number 1? No big deal..."

Not liking him is fine mate, but statistically, he isn't any more consistent than Zverev. Maybe this will push him onto another level. We'll see. I think he's a keeper in the long term though... but I think the same about Zverev... either way, Tsitsipas excites me more as a spectator than both.

I have not been a Karen fan in the past, but after seeing him this week in this new improved light and getting to known his persona as well, I like him.

That was the definition of blowing a match. Serving for a 2 set lead at 30-15 and going for an awful drop shot when he had an easy putaway forehand.

I agree with that assessment for the second set. However, in the last couple of sets JMDP was hitting winners at speed > 100 mph
from both wings and there was really nothing that Fed could do.

Congrats to KK. Bercy lived up to its reputation of producing different winners and many first time winners. I did not see this one either. But, my impression of KK was also a ball basher. I actually thought Rafa would eliminate him very easily. But, he stood tough against Rafa even though he lost (primarily because of his own UFE).

Let us hope he can keep it up, instead of backing it up like Sock did.

Jack Sock won his master against Krajinovic, big difference.
Again, Khachanov defeated 3 top 10 players consecutively, he is not Jack Sock .
