Who is this guy Krajinovic. I literally haven't heard of him before. He looks like a baller. Anyone who stops Isner in his tracks is tops in my book. Mopey fucker...

I turned away after John got the break early in the 3rd! How in the world did this happen? Quite an effort! Very impressive!

Even though he was helped by Rafa's withdrawal, to defeat both American towers in the same event, is quite something for an unheralded player ranked 77.

Being indoors was the most likely place to be "in the zone!" I remember being 19 at a new club near my home! After living on Lake Michigan for years dealing with very windy conditions, it was such a difference playing indoors with no sun! I played the week of my life winning the "B" level singles! Maybe he's having one of those "moments!"  :ptennis:

Krajinov v. Sock for a Masters final. Who would have thought.

Jack Sock must be salivating at this opportunity, rather than having a Rafa or Fed across the net.

Losing is simply not an option for Sock. I almost feel sorry for him

I would not be surprised if Sock loses. He is playing with double pressure of winning the Bercy event and making it to WTF.
On the other hand K has nothing to lose and free to swing.

JMDP has said that he is not going to London as an alternate. But, he will probably go there as a regular entrant. For that to happen, Sock has to lose and Rafa has to withdraw. Chances are less.

If Sock wins, Sock gets the last slot, PCB is the first alternate and SQ is the second alternate (due to JMDP's announcement).

If Sock loses, PCB gets the slot, SQ is the first alternate and Anderson is the second alternate (due to JMDP's announcement).

Neither PCB Nor SQ have done much after USO.

They've played once before at a 2014 Challenger on clay - Sock won in 3. 3-6 6-4 6-4.

Pressure is all on Jack the Lad. Like GSM, wouldn't surprise me either if he fluffed his lines.

Why shouldn't he? Or why should he be any different from everyone else who had loads to play for: If not YEC, then at least a MS 1000 which had increasingly lesser competition? I'll be happy for Sock if he wins an MS, but I'm going to have to admire the young SRB qualifier if he skunks them all. (And I'll feel like @Fiero425.)

I haven't seen the match but this is the crazy reaction of Krajinovic and his coach after to beat Isner, can you imagine if he would win the tournament what they will do? :yahoo:

I am rooting for Sock. Not because I have anything against K though. I would like Sock to qualify for WTF. That too not because I like sock. It is because if he does not qualify, then PCB will. PCB is not designed to play against big time players. After the USO (in which he played against 4 successive qualifiers), he was won only a total of two matches. Jack Sock might play better than PCB against big name players.

This guys just found themselves another fan! Too good. I like Sock too so any outcome for the final is fine with me. But I agree with GSM, right now Sock would be a much better addition to the WTF. PCB is a fine player, but the surface does not help him, and he is ridding a wave of bad results.

Is this without a doubt the biggest jump in rankings' history? Filip Krajinović is now showing up as #33 on the live ATP ranking! This guy barely qualified going the distance against another "no name" player! He now jumps from something like #75 last month to possibly top 25 if he beats Sock? Wow; direct entry into tourneys for the next year! And people wonder why he and his coach lost their minds after beating Isner yesterday! :cuckoo:

Jack Sock passing Filip left and right to get the breaks in the third. He just needs to hold now to get his three straight losses in London.

Seems presumptuous. He could end up in a group with Roger, Goffin and Thiem. The later two are very beatable. Or Nadal, Zverev and Thiem. All three of them would be vulnerable - Thiem's played like caca since he lost to DelPo at the USO, Zverev would be tired from playing in Milan this week and Nadal will be playing injured. Okay...who am I kidding...even beating an injured Nadal is probably over-reaching for Sock...
