Naye, this will be Thiem vs Gasquet final. I will be cheering for Gasquet, because there is still time for Thiem.

^ Is that for real? I like Gasquet but I don't think he's getting through Murray and if he does I would then say I don't think he's getting through Wawrinka... If Nole doesn't get upset I think Thiem's run stops in the semis. If Nole does lose it could be Thiem, Goffin, or Ferrer in the final.

I think so far the best in No1e's half is Thiem, the best in Murray's half is Gasquet and it would be almost not fair if they don't play the final.

^ I still can't tell if an alien has taken over your keyboard man :) I do agree that Gasquet has been the sharpest of the top half and actually of the entire tournament. But I don't think that suddenly puts him as the favorite to get past Murray and Stan. I'm looking forward to Thiem-Goffin in the QF's. I think that will be close to 50-50 and I'm cool with either of them winning.

This just highlights the importance of match ups in tennis. RBA never puts up much resistance against Federer, extraordinary that he's even sniffing a set against Novak

I'm surprised you say that. Given the stuff that Murray and Wawrinka have put together in the last few rounds it would take a brave man to be against one or the other being in the final. Gasquet has had a good run, he's playing hot, but when it matters I'm simply not convinced. Furthermore the better players are gradually starting to up their game

Gasquet ain't making the final M. Yeah, he's played well so far, but Stan or Murray are more likely - he'll potentially need to go through both - can't see it myself.

Thiem is an interesting one - I think he wins this in the future but not this year. If Novak somehow flunks this, then maybe he'd be my favourite to get there too..... but maybe not win it.

I'm wondering about your lack of confidence in Novak turning this around though.

I was expecting this to be a difficult match. Bautista is like a second Simon, he will drive Novak nuts.

Fingers crossed for Novak to get off the court in four.

Have you lost faith in Djokovic?

It's safe to the say the first 2 QF's will be rescheduled to tomorrow which made more sense to begin with. Hopefully all the 4th rounders get finished today. The winners will have to play tomorrow which sucks enough as is but this could really turn ugly schedule-wise if the rest of the action gets rained out today.

Surely they would reschedule those QF to Thurday then? Make everyone play only one match a day. You also still have Saturday as a fallback option.
