Just tuning into Serena's match,I see she still has her night match outfit on
Good first set 63 in just over 1/2 an hour.
Serena's serve very effective in the 1st set.,only dropped 3 points on serve.
I need to take a nap,Buzarnescu not strong enough on the return of Serena's serve,should be a straight sets win for Serena.

Hell,she was doing the same in the Begu match,she hit the ball straight to her 3 times in a row
Honestly she played well in the 1st set only lost 3 points on serve...........I took a nap early in the 2nd set,just woke up

Serena better wake up her side of the draw opened up relatively nicely minus say Sabalenka and a few others that if she focuses she could get far here, but second sets like that are costly and send you home. I suppose it is something that she refocused and got the win.

I am off to work and will check scores later.Sad for Ash,though knowing Ash she will accept it and say there is always another tennis match.Later.

I really wish Serena was playing doubles or mixed here. She needs the match play before Wimbledon.

I thought the same thing earlier. I feel like the tennis God's have opened the way for her to win this thing. She seems very unsure of herself out there, when the match is on the line.
