(Q) Martina Trevisan who only managed to take 3 games off Kiki Bertens in Charleston last year,won in straight sets 64 64

Elina Svitolina is the only remaining seed in the top half of the draw.

Not only that, but someone on this side will reach their first GS final. No one left in the whole draw has won RG before. Two slam champs on the other side in Petra and Sofia

I wouldn't even say Halep played that badly. If Swiatek can sustain that level she should win this tournament.

No 7 Petra Kvitova vs Zhang Shaui
Petra has won 3 of their five previous matches,they have split their two prior matches on clay.If Petra wins this match she will return to the WTA Top Ten (currently ranked 11).

(4) Sofia Kenin vs Fiona Ferro,Kenin won their only previous meeting on clay,in Charleston qualifying in 2017.
Sofia is in the RG fourth round for the second straight year,joins Petra as the only two players to have made at least the 4th rd at all of this year's GS events.

(30) Ons Jabeur,2011 RG junior singles winner, vs Danielle Collins is seeking her second GS q/final.Earlier this year,she made history at the AO becoming the first Arab woman to reach the final eight of a GS event.

Laura Siegemund vs Paula Badosa both have reached the fourth rd of a GS for the first time,at WTA level,having split their two previous meetings at ITF challenger events.

I started watching Petra's match and fell asleep on the lounge lol!

Petra was in full control defeated Zhang Shaui 62 64 to make the q/finals for the first time since 2012 at RG.

In the other match,

Veteran Laura Siegemund defeated Paula Badosa 75 62 to seal a place in her first career q/final at a GS event.

Match between Jabeur vs Collins on Lenglan suspended due to rain.

Match has started on Chatrier between Kenin vs Ferro with the roof on

Ferro came back and won six straight games and won the 1st set 62 against Kenin,she is here to play and fully focused.

Kenin storms back to win the 2nd set 62......going into a decider.

Yes their match was cancelled due to rain and the officials moved the mens match on Chatrier instead.
It does mean the winner of Jabeur vs Collins will now have to play Tuesday,Wednesday and Thursday if they want to make the RG final
