He better forget this spring of 2021. I really had a feeling Uncle Toni could have a positive effect on him, but no success so far.
Just got back from work,I dont think you can expect any new coach to work miracles,it will take a little while, remember too,Toni is not the only coach of Felix.

Granted,though Struff is a tough customer,Rublev was down 2 sets.Anyway I still love Rublev's hair:)
I agree Struff. And on Rublev's hair. ;) But still, I thought Andrey would go deeper. Well, he's young, and a WIP.

Playing 5 sets on clay for Rublev is a different proposition than saying playing in MC,sorry to bring that up,he will learn from this going forward.

Just had a chance to look at the stats on Rafa/s match, because I have been watching 2 womens matches
4/11 BP? he has to clean that up going forward.

He'll be fine against Gasquet anyway. Poor's guy's movement is terrible the last few years. He was always hunched but his back injuries have ruined him. I'll be genuinely amazed if he wins 6 games against Nadal.

I am not worried with that match,I was just looking at the BPs stats which needs to improve against tougher opponents down the track.Though Ritchie and Rafa have one thing in common their hair and lack of it on top:)

I didn't take her to mean Gasquet. I don't think anyone is worried about that one. Remember in '05 and everyone was anticipating the Battle of the 18 year olds when they played at RG? Nadal in straights.

Actually My young Aussie Alexi 'choked' should have won the 3rd set before it went to a t/break,again,a learning experience for him going forward.

Oh Fiero , to paraprase Virgina Wade, “I’d rather win ugly than lose beautifully...”
I think the actual quote was "I'd rather play beautiful tennis than win!" Sorry! She was a fave of my era with Evonne Goolagong! Unfortunately she was emotionally crippled; mostly her own countrymen putting the weight of the world on her! The only thing that saved her was her aggressive game! I can still see her coming back to beat Evert at a WTT match-up! The vid might still be on You-Tube! Thank Gawd she won Wimbledon in '77! It saved her career even though she owned other majors! :face-with-hand-over-mouth:

Yes i know the exact quote, but Well duh... thus the term “paraphrase” .

However Virginia later claimed she never said it.

I got that yeah. No one would expect Gasquet to win against any good player though which was all I was saying. Guy is one and done since his back injuries which is unfortunate.
