By the way, there is a super-tiebreaker at 6-all at RG starting this year. So, Felix and Nadal do not have to worry about playing forever.

I saw just saw this at Twitter: Felix has forced Medvedev at AO and Nadal at RG to play five setters. So, he is getting there, let's hope he can overcome the hurdle soon.

So much for my prediction that Schwartzman could at least keep Novak on court for a bit. 2'15". Tennis channel didn't show any of it.
Didn't watch but Fox Sports was showing it around 8 AM ET, they've had maybe 4 hours of early morning coverage every day

Rafa taken to 5 sets by Felix, good or bad?
Match toughened or wasting too much energy for a near 36 year old in the 4th round?

The answer will be how he does against Djokovic.

I will say both. Bad in a sense that he is 36 years old so he should reserve energy as best as he can. On the other hand, it is good because the match gave him match toughness he needed before facing Djokovic.

I did wished he should have finished the match in 4 sets, but he is 36 years old so...

Rafa eeked out a win. He can now only play better than today, but I am not sure about his fittness and recovery.

Any idea how to watch the Alcaraz match in the US? It's not on TC or ESPN or NBC.

Alcaraz d Khachanov in straight sets 61 64 64....
First time made the q/finals at RG 19 years young....well done!
Apart from that 5 set match when he nearly went out, his form now is good.
Alcaraz will now play Sasha in the q/finals.

It is the Peacock app, Moxie. Unfortunately, you have to pay the subscription to watch the match.
I have it, but was too busy to watch. Thanks for the intel. Working madly, but will come back to talk about Rafa, FAA and Novak.

Just want to make a general observation,
To me the real competition starts in the QFs
Sometimes having a easy draw and not being challenged can go against you.
In saying that making the 2nd week, having matches in straight sets, bodes well at the business end of a tournament.
Playing on clay tests not only your physical state also your mental capacity.
