They stop at 3-3 finally. I guess this means advantage to Woz.
That was a messy looking match. I was pretty surprised Katsatkina pulled out the first. I hope Caroline pulls it together tomorrow.

Serena v Maria setting up for a grudge match tomorrow. Probably the only reason to watch. Any reason to think that Serena doesn't make it 20-2?

I hope not. But, the sisters failed miserably in their doubles match, complete with eating of bagel at end. I did not watch the doubles match. But, that got to be a bad omen, if it was lost due to Serena.

Serena is the one still playing singles, so I wouldn't put it all on her. "Failing" in doubles isn't the worst thing to happen to either of them.

thats not the same thing as a singles match....
Maria is going to lose the mental game especially after her nasty book..Serena is very ready for her ass.

I think it was the interviewers that brought up the book. But if Serena needed motivation, well-done. I don't give Sharapova a prayer tomorrow.

What’s in the book that would irk Serena?
I haven't read it but apparently Serena has. Supposedy, in the book, Maria says that it all stems from Maria beating Serena at Wimbledon all those many years ago. That Serena cried in the locker room. Serena says that she's cried in the locker room over plenty of losses. To me, Masha is looking for an excuse for all of those losses. Even if it were revenge, she's a tough cookie. She could have made a better h2h if she were even nearly as good a player than Serena Williams. She makes too much of that win at Wimbledon.

I’m surprised Serena cried over that loss. She was coming back from injury, and looked happy just to make it that far. I’m also surprised she bothered to read that book. I assume it’s trash and full of lies.
