Kyle keeps knocking up wins but Fognini in the fourth round will be seriously tough match.

Today Rafa does not have the most powerful voice on the court, it belongs to my main man, Kadar Nouni

As expected (by the ones who follow clay) Pella giving Nadal a very tough start of the match.

(but the break comes, Nadal 4x2 after more than half an hour)

Only good thing about Nads playing a pure clay courter is that the guy can keep him on court awhile. More court time = shorter career ultimately. But not short enough it's been :yoda:

My favorite players dropping like flies. Hope I see some on court compound fractures for the remaining players

Poor Shapo, went out early. This martyr guy reached SF at Munich and so is not a slouch either.

Anyway, when the draw came out I said even though Rafa's draw is easy, he will at least face some semi-dangerous opponents on the way and listed four of them viz., Dog, Sousa, Shapo and Shortman. It turned out that Rafa did not even have to face three of them viz., Dog, Sousa and Shapo. Let us see whether Rafa faces Shortman at least.

Apart from a few strange errors, Nadal played scary tennis. Some counter-strikes were vintage++.

Julian Benneteau lost to JMDP and says goodbye to the French Open. He'll retire after the USO. It looked pretty emotional for him.

Apparently, this also happened to the previous opponent of JMDP viz., Nicolas Mahut.

JMDP is sending everyone into retirement. I wish he plays ............
