Djokovic gave away that break hitting like he wasn't interested to be on the court. Schwartzman serves for the set, where he was down 1-4 not long ago.

There's no one playing tennis at Nadal's level. Maybe Carreno Busta is the closest. Djokovic doesn't look good enough. Let's see how much things change in the next 5-6 days.

I haven't been watching this... I am now.... but they just pulled up a stat... Djokovic has won 10% of points from baseline rallies... does that sound correct to people who saw the first set? He's 56% for the tournament BTW.

Can't see Carreno Busta threatening Nadal. If anyone steps up it will likely be Djokovic, Stan or Thiem, but I wouldn't bet money on any of them.. and Djoker might not even survive this round, the way things are going.

I'm impressed how much Pepe and Novak's brother look alike

His BH. has been dreadful, so many errors.

What I'm seeing on Novak is that he is slower and not so flexible than before. His head? his body?

I've only been watching a few games, but he seems way out of sorts.
I still feel he is carrying a chronic injury, something that worsens as a match progresses and possibly as pain meds wear off. Or maybe something that flares up from time to time. Whatever, I hate to see him like this. It's painful to watch. Best thing for him would be rain right now.

The Argentine is not doing so bad.
Agassi is not there today, he said he would stay just a couple of matches

His drop shots are pathetic, and he continues to play them.

It really had better be that. He just blew another one of his "signature" drop-shots that drop on his side of the net, making at least 3 today. You're right...he could use a rain delay.

I wouldn't mind so much, but it's not as if Diego is doing something really special out there... it's not a Soderling/Nadal experience...

He said he head tennis elbow. He has also had shoulder issues. Both involve the tendons. They are painful and also cause delayed muscle control. He has said recently he is fit but he would say that regardless.
