I doubt that Novak will beat Rafa at this year's RG (as Novak has to play Rafa to beat him :lolz: )

So are we suggesting Berdych is going to go on an angry tear after having been double bageled and take out Novak, Rafa and Murray or Wawa in succession and be the victor.

After being very careful during the prime part of the clay season, now Stan screwed up his chances at RG by winning Geneva :)

Just kidding. Realistically, only Thiem has a decent chance of upsetting Rafa. But, playing in the week before RG might not help the cause. Fog and Tsonga may not be up to the task.

Rafa had 4 losses on clay this year.

1. To Thiem in Argentina Open at SF in three sets.
2. To Pablo Cuveas in Rio at SF in three sets.
3. To Andy in Madrid at SF in two sets.
4. To Nole in Rome at QF in two sets.

It's got nothing to do with #15 lol. Gotta love how Nadal fans make everything Federer related. It's just to do with him not being able to beat Djokovic. But we'll see. Unless Novak has had a tough few rounds before like what happened in Rome, then Nadal won't win imo. And Novak's path is a doddle with this draw so he'll be fresh and ready.

Question,Djokovic was a huge favorite in the final vs Stan last year, Did Stan win because he was playing fantastic or was it because Novak had a "bad" day as you and some of the others typically say when he looses

Stan was much better. Thing is, Nadal hasn't been anywhere near that good at any tournament the last 2 years and that's what it's gonna take to beat Novak over 5 sets.

Rafa'S level at MC and Barcelona was very close to Stan'S level or as good any one has been on clay this year , however you never give the man any credit

Cuevas is hiding in the draw in Berdych's Octet. There is a reasonable chance that he could indeed be Novak's QF opponent. To be there, Cuevas needs to win over Berdych and Ferrer. However, it is doable considering both are on a downward slide of late.

Tsonga has a 4-8 H2H against Rafa, but has never beaten him on clay.

It can't have been close to Stan's level as he didn't win a single set. Stan won 3 in last year's RG final. It's not a question of not giving him credit as Nadal has clearly played much better lately than he has in 2 years but it's still not enough to win a single set off Novak. I'm merely being realistic. Nadal fans can hope he wins against Novak but the stats are very much against him right now.

Right after the south american swing, if I had seen this draw, I would say that Cuevas was a lock for the QF spot, and would turn on the upset alert agaisnt Djokovic.

However, I was hugely disappointed by his European clay campaign. He did, well, a bit less than ok, but much less than I was expecting, given the he has beaten Nadal, and, even more importantly, the level he was showing at both Brazilian tournaments (I saw semis and finals in SĂŁo Paulo).

Let´s see, maybe he got the memo during the clay masters, and puts up a decent performance now. Anyway, I am already off the bandwagon (that I kind of created myself, maybe).

I think actually the opposite. He played so little on clay up to Geneva, due to early loses, that he needed to get into some rhythm and gain confidence.
This will help him during RG and be careful, everyone was focusing how easy draw Nole has, I think Stan has an equally if not even easier draw ahead of him up to the SF.

We can't assume Stan will play anywhere near as well as last year's tourney! He was in the zone hitting winners from behind the baseline! Even with his 2 majors, I see him as possibly the most inconsistent champion of all time; wins AO one day and loses a 1st round match to some nobody the next! Even Andy doesn't do that; usually fulfilling his seed and expectations for the most part! :cover :p :nono

More hilarious nonsense from you. AP was saying I never give Nadal credit and I said he's playing better than he has in 2 years but that it still isn't enough to beat Novak. There is absolutely ZERO mad and annoying about that. It is A FACT. He has not taken a single set off Nadal since RG 2014. You need help actually with grasping reality.

Crazed idiots? Again, same response as I said to Carol and typed above but I'll say it again. Yes, he's playing much better than he has in 2 years but he still hasn't even won a set against Novak since RG 2014. What exactly makes me a crazed idiot for telling you the truth/facts? Not my fault Nadal can't beat Djokovic so it'd be nice if yourself and Carol didn't take it out on posters here 'cos you can't bear that Djokovic keeps beating him.

No we cannot. It sure would be fun if more than one player was in the zone, but that probably won't happen. :nono
