This is where it shows that Milos comes back after a long layover. Just not ready mentally in a TB.
He played his worst TB I have ever seen. Loses it 1-7 and lone point was obtain on a DF by Dr. Ivo.

Not to worry, there will be two more tie-breaks. :snicker

i hear theim had a mp in tb..lost it and tb , then lost set three 6-1. oh dear.

at least grigor won, I watched coric earlier, he's gonna lose a few times here on in as he bumps up against the top players. lost in straights to Tsonga,

evil dr ivo wins yet another 7-6 set..nightmare match for milos coming back from his deformed foot problem.

Thiem losing is a good thing. He played for the last three weeks in a row. He needs some rest now, play Cincy (and hopefully not play in the last week) and head to USO to perform well where it counts.

D. Neapolitan Ice Cream Head

The poor kid was absolutely sure he had the most bad-ass hair of all time... and then comes Tented and compares it to ice-cream. If he ends up reading this forum I guess he would cry all night.

^^yum. :)

anyway, the return of nick k was good, anyone notice how he is playing a top players schedule even though he is only in the 30s/30s rank ?..

he only seems to play majors or masters mainly as far as I can see (apart from queens), you'd think he be wanting to playing smaller tourneys like theim and build his rank up..now he is risking tough matches, like here, playing vernando fiasco and next up stanimal, he moight not bee seeded at the usopen. aslo,

I mean imagine a usopen 1st rd of nadal or fester or djokovic vs krygios ?..yikes. get your rank up sharpish mr k. *sings* (for the benefit of mr k there will be a show today on court fourteen. dum dum dum dumm), :p without a hogshead of real fire though probably.

Tennis Tuesday had an article projecting five Canadian players (3 Men and 2 Women) and discussing their possible good run at Canada. Of those 5, only Popsicle managed to survive the first round.

Stan plays the Neapolitan Hair (Kyrgios) this evening... any thoughts on this one?

Murray/Robredo match to be played this afternoon. Any chance of an upset or will this be a straightforward win for the Scot?

News reports just said something about an illness! Mahut was the LL who replaced him in the draw! Hard to believe anything out of today's pro; illness, injury, exhaustion! This just didn't happen "back in the day!" People felt fortunate to be on tour and they needed the meager prize money offered! :nono  :dodgy:

Rafa playing Stak shortly. These two met just once in Davis Cup in 2013. 2013 Rafa took him to cleaners with a score line of 6-0, 6-0, 6-4. It is the same year when Stak took out Fed with S&V fest.

Youzhny is suddenly coming to form. He is 6-1, 3-1 up against SImon. Youzhny won his first round match against Troiki who was actually staging a comeback after his ban. It almost looked like Youzhny is done for his career and now resurging.

Stanimal probably in 2 tight ones.

If Muzz can't get out of R2 for a 2nd consecutive week, he should be forced to surrender his player card.
