Thiem losing is a good thing. He played for the last three weeks in a row. He needs some rest now, play Cincy (and hopefully not play in the last week) and head to USO to perform well where it counts.

he only seems to play majors or masters mainly as far as I can see (apart from queens), you'd think he be wanting to playing smaller tourneys like theim and build his rank up..now he is risking tough matches, like here, playing vernando fiasco and next up stanimal, he moight not bee seeded at the usopen. aslo,

I mean imagine a usopen 1st rd of nadal or fester or djokovic vs krygios ?..yikes. get your rank up sharpish mr k. *sings* (for the benefit of mr k there will be a show today on court fourteen. dum dum dum dumm), without a hogshead of real fire though probably.

News reports just said something about an illness! Mahut was the LL who replaced him in the draw! Hard to believe anything out of today's pro; illness, injury, exhaustion!
