Goffin sends Sam home and Tomic is up a set and a break on the U.S. Open champion, Cilic.

Tomic won.
I saw the other day Tomic playing Siusa and I liked how he handled himself. I thought he would have some chances against Cilic.

Hope the Youz can take out Nadal.

Why do you care who the dirt :devil plays, your primary "beloved"is skipping the tournament that has the same namesake as him.:laydownlaughing

Really shocked at Berdych's play. I don't see the desire anymore. Was really hoping he could make the last step up just once before the next generation passes him by but I'm quickly losing all expectations for him. Has played poorly since making the Monte Carlo Masters final.

Make that 5-2. The Donald is waxing that tail. Hard to believe Berd has been this bad after his strong start to the year.

That is not going to happen. Mad doctor has defeated Rafa in his hay days on hard courts. But, now he is almost retired. Surprisingly he won a couple of matches in this tourney.

On the positive side, you don't have to wait for long. Samurai will do it in QF.

Cilic loses to Tomic. Remains the flukiest of fluke slam champions ever.

If he wins another one, I will bring this thread back:laydownlaughing

And a easier road for Novak. Berdych has lost, Nadal will lose against samurai and he will retire right after  what else the Serbian can ask? :laydownlaughing

One asinine comment about Nadal after another. I am amazed by this. Makes me wonder what would you do if he was his usual self this year. On that note, I am cringing while watching the #1 seed crawl through the draw. Revolting. How many of those splits can he do on court before his ankles crack, I wonder. Hopefully, not many more.

To be honest, after the clay season, I think Nadal will have to make some big win to make Novak afraid of him. He might be more inclined to see a mediocre Nadal than Kei on a winning streak or Andy...
