Someone on twitter just posted

'no idea how Kvitova goes from goating to just awful in a few minutes'

Perhaps this poster hasn't seen much of Kvitova's matches.....;)

CSN just handed Kvitova a Bagel in the 2nd set

Going the distance in this match

Petra this is just awful tennis from you,you have lost 8 games in a row, after playing a good first set of tennis...now down 0-3 in the 3rd set, just missing routine shots.

CSN has defeated Petra before this way. You can't let her hang around and find form because that BH gets cooking and then you're toast.

From the outside looking in, it seems it may be time for Petra to seek the help of a sports psychologist. Brilliant in one set, and then inexplicablely horrid following. Just happens to often.

Regarding Caroline, her best just isn't on par with the best of say, Serena, Vika or Maria's.

Apparently from what I have read Petra did have help of a mental coach last year? I dont know if they are working together this year....Petra's walkabouts in matches have become her swan song I'm afraid, she and team need to address this problem ASAP.

And Petko gets bounced out in straights, 6-2 6-1. Lucie is on fire these last couple of weeks.

VIKA IS BACK AND SHE IS OUT FOR BLOOD!

I fear the fight Caro displayed last year has dissipated a lot. Sure Vika is the stronger player at her best but still Caro could put-up a better fight than that if last year she more than once took a set off Serena.

Kvitova...sigh.

She took sets off of a sub par Serena, and Caro's best just isn't on par with the best of the better.

BTW Azarenka and Flip withdrew from their doubles match

Have been criticize for doing this mainly on twitter

I guess the reason Vika wanted to play doubles was to get more match play, probably didnt think she would make the s/finals at Doha in singles.

Seriously stop it with that crap. She took a set off Serena 2 weeks before Serena won her 18th grand slam. You're not allowed to call Serena sub par anytime she loses or a lesser player takes a set off her.

You will let debate go, because, Serena is not in D9ha and not trying to make this about her.

...but, the fact is, when Caroline plays the best at their best, she doesn't beat them, or for that matter, she doesn't win sets. So, I am not surprised at her last two losses to Vika.
