I actually think that match was good for Azarenka. It shows that her match endurance is back and she can go the distance with tricky surging opponents.

Yeah I think there is a small handful of players who have been doing that this season and its a recipe for disaster. Unless you have conditioning and a body type that you really arent at risk for injury, i think its a bad idea. For instance it was rarely a problem for Caroline at her height or Jankovic.

She's been playing 24 matches in singles and another 8 doubles matches in this season so far. It is definitely too many. I've read an interview with her coach where he said they didn't expect her to be so successful and wanted her to be seeded at bigger tourneys. They didn't want to cancel it because Karolina was coping with it admiringly. The goal was accomplished and now they are going to plan the tourneys more carefully.

The interview was interesting I might translate it and place it to the gossip thread when I find some time.

Thank you.I met Karolina at Apia International,Sydney,this year,spoke to her personally.She is delightful young lady.Though I think if she and her coach do not prepare carefully for the rest of the season she will be totally burnt out.

I must say some of the umpiring at Doha this week has been kind of poor.
