Well fair play to you if you did, brother. And I too have spent time in the ICU wards, visiting several people who are dear me and had the misfortune to be so sick. And so I have a great appreciation for medical professionals who work there - and anywhere else. Your statement was really thoughtless when you said that people can't have understanding or empathy unless they've been in Margaret's shoes. Many people who have the exact same politics as you have not been in Margaret's shoes.

Unforced error upon unforced error. Could have been avoided. But nobody saw this tsunami coming. He was feeling himself way too much above mere mortals, and that when the tournament bent for him, he figured that was enough.

No, Joker does not shrug it off; as he's said even recently "I'm a human", clearly seeking some sympathy from the crown who does not give it to him. This saga no doubt is already taking a heavy toll on him. Who knows, our prediction may come true and the emotional stress could be too much for him and be a turning point in his career...
Sad, because it'd been easy to handle it better at various stages: take the vaccine or don't come if unable to take (it's just 1 GS he's healthy and able to win many more), don't lie on the visa app, if made a mistake, accept the consequences of the mistake.

IMO, the courts should strike down alex hawke decision and bash their own country for putting novak in this position. How people want to dismiss how tennis australia and state government cleared him to come, supposedly at odds with federal government, is a disgrace. Additionally, exercising these godlike powers by alex hawke is politically motivated and courts should slam government for playing politics by using novak as some pinata representing anti vaxers.

and then, i hope he bagels everyone and gets 22, which is really why many on this forum want him deported, they don’t want him to get to 22 in his favourite slam. Ask yourself what type of a person you are if this is main reason you cheer on as one of the greatest athletes of all time, who by all accounts is a nice guy and who has been wronged by different entities - state, federal and tennis organizers (who internally couldn’t get their stuff straight).
