Brother I'm Not going to go down that rabbit hole with you.
Because you're wrong. Statistically, if it was so bad, you could simply show me. You're drama queening this one, my friend...

To make an example of him. I said that in the first post. Comply or pay the consequences.
Yes but who? TA? The Australian government? Novak has a whole tennis stadium full of Johnny Cochranes totting up the sums here. If he was coaxed by false intel, or if they shifted the goalposts to make him miss, his team will be all over it, and it'll be exposed.

Isn't it possible that he got this one completely wrong? And even more, isn't it possible that he placed one lie on top of another, and they all toppled over? The first lie being that he's not vaccinated on principle, and he's exercising a personal choice, when actually he's not vaccinated because he has a medical condition. Or vice versa?

Nah. I show you facts and you are going to give me unsubstantiated replies that have no merit based on your own hypothesis Everyone knows there's no queening down by AP. Not this time my friend, not this thread.

There’s no proof offered by you either, to show that this is the “most delicate pandemic EVER!” The word EVER capitalised with drama Queen efficiency to emphasise its EVERness.

You’re obviously are unfamiliar with pandemics that occurred pre-Fauci, although he’s fairly old, maybe he was around during the Spanish Flu….

The only thing that is obvious is that you are obsessed with having the last word. I have more important things going on in my world than to engage in a banter with you that isn't competitive because you base 90 Percent on your own hypothesis NEVER raw data or facts that can be vetted. It's never a real discussion if I give you facts yet you will try to rebuttal with satire because it's the way you are. That's the truth. Okay, give you response, it's what you have historically done.

Once again, you flit in, make an hysterical and totally unsubstantiated claim, an unrealistic claim, then flounce off in a huff, but not before you accuse me of wanting to “have the last word” simply because I made a basic request for proof. There is no proof for what you said - but it doesn’t stop you believing that you’re right.

Google the Black Death, or the Spanish Flu, for examples of the “most delicate pandemics EVER!”

Yep. Remember how that worked out for O.J.
Exactly. And I think it’s only because he has a bunch of fat cheque lawyers that he’s still in the country. I still don’t see how the Australians can let him stay, and still spin it as a victory of any sort, given the rhetoric their PM came out with. I know, politicians are a low breed, but still, the whole situation is set up to look now like Novak is in the wrong, but can appeal simply as a legal right…

I’m not really sure what Djokovic’s endgame is here. I mean the obvious play the Australian Open and break the tie, but there will be a heavy cost to pay which I’m just not sure is worth it. If I were his fellow ATP players, I would be extra motivated to send him home without another slam trophy for the rest of his career.

Presumably Greg Hunt, the Federal Health Minister (formerly the Director of Strategy at the World Economic Forum) called it in.

So Greg Hunt alone is behind all this? Or is this an extension of the WEF program? What about the Czech player who’s also been denied, on the same grounds?

No, Greg Hunt alone isn't behind this. Listen mate, no offence intended but I'll revisit this when people are on their eighth jab. Patience is something I have yet to master properly.

That's fair enough, brother. You'd wanna see my blood pressure readings during this pandemic. I think the real health scare is gonna come after this one has cleared up. Keep well down there! :crossed-fingers:

Honey trap? No, he's been told he can come and the outcome was intended beforehand.
Wow, seriously? At first I thought you hadn't been paying attention, but I wonder if you believe this? That the Victoria government and the Fed all got together to let a tennis player fly in, just to make a show of turning him away? That's elaborate. I'm not sure anyone would have invited the bad PR they got by granting the exemption in the first place. Did it get political after Novak sent out his cheery tweet, not realizing that a lot of Australians might not be as happy about it? Yes, clearly. Are you saying it was a set-up before that?

What is so utterly astonishing? You get a Visa before you fly, not when you arrive. The whole thing is a staged farce. It's political.

She was also under the impression, it seems, that her recent Covid infection exempted her. I think there is a dropout between the Victoria/TA panel of "experts" and the federal government.
There's certainly a wealth of confusion about what the procedure is, and who can actually allow players in, and though it'll probably become clearer after Novak's appeal, I'm sure the ATP and WTA were given guidelines beforehand about what was what, but still players are being turned around. I haven't noticed any ATP or WTA statements about this, but then again, I'm not too bothered if Novak is sent home so I didn't go looking for them either... :lol6:

He got late notice that he would be granted the exemption, and his team applied for his visa for him. It was a work visa that doesn't allow for medical exemption, so presumably the one he would normally apply for, but now the right one right now, during COVID, so the error seems somewhat understandable. Is that hard to understand, without reading in conspiracies? No one has ever been granted the wrong visa? I think you're really reaching on this one.
