Might actually have a small punt on him against Novak too.

If Ruud does well in clay season I'd still see Nadal spanking him if both met at RG, especially in a final. He proved that for us all by losing in straight sets to Nadal on Nadal's worst surface and a surface that Ruud is actually decent on. He really needs to work on his level against the top 3.

Ruud needs to work on his bhand, that was apparent at this years final at RG and the USO

And he does. Should Ruud win tomorrow, he takes over #2 from Nadal.

Come the eff on Ruud. Now beat Novak and stop coming up short in these big finals.
Novak barely beat Fritz who lost to Ruud so it's not out of the question that Ruud wins. When I say barely obviously he didn't lose a set but that was so close that a mere few points would have reversed the straight sets 2 TBs result.

Yeah, I hate to make it about one point, but Fritz was distracted by someone calling out in a crucial moment, and I think he was serving for the 2nd set. That was too bad. TBs usually go to the far more experienced player.

Didn't watch it but that's unfortunate. I watched the highlights of his last few matches though and he blasted loads of sloppy errors to lose both which was tough after hanging in there till the end.
