Probably looking at a 2nd set t/break, hopefully the Special K's keep their UFE 'intact' this time lol!
Here we go in the 2nd set t/break

I’m surprised Nick played this, but no singles in Paris. I hope it isn’t a sign that his ardour is waning and he’s taking easy options again…

It is always hard to tell where Nick’s head is at these days. It does seem like he has been dealing with lingering issues with his health and with his personal life.

Rublev/Tsitsipas about to begin. Does anyone think Rublev has a chance?
He played well against Medvedev the other day, which was the only one of his I saw, to a level I was surprised by. Let's see what he has today.

EDIT: H2H 6-4 in favor of the Greek, but Rublev beat him here last year 4, 4.

There's always a chance, but this matchup is the lesser of two evils. They both have trouble closing out matches, but the Greek will force the issue more in the forecourt and change things up.

My question becomes why isn’t Taylor the leader of his group and Ruud the runner-up? I am sure I should know this, but looking at the numbers on the surface it seems like it should be Taylor leading the group and Ruud in position 2. I guess it has to be some form of golf rules lol.

I want Ruud to win this title, but it seems like he should be facing Djokovic not Fritz.
This is easy to calculate. Casper beat Tay and FAA in straights. Because he did that he gets the first spot in the group. His match against Nads was a dead rubber because Rafa had already lost 2 matches in straight sets. Nads basically played for $$, pride and 200 ranking points yesterday. He couldn't alter the outcome of the group at all. Tay already lost to Casper, so he can't go first in the group ahead of him.

I’m going with Tsitsipas, with his serve on this fast court. Hope I’m wrong!
