That foot fault call was unfortunate, but it was early enough in the TB that Medvedev shouldn't have let it bother him so much. I thought he looked to be cruising in straights.

I can see why this is a rather tense match-up. Medvedev has sort of usurped what I think Zverev was going to be his position next in the tennis hierarchy. (Rightly or wrongly, and through his own fault, but I think he must feel so.)

Sinner will replace Matteo in the evening match.A repeat of the Miami final against Hurkacz,hopefully this time he can turn the tables.Matteo forced to withdraw from the tournament with ab injury.

sinner born in august and 20 is 3m younger than djoko was on nov2007. and nadal in 2006..
nadal did qualify of course in 2005 but w/d with injury.
