Haha you are a real expert , you proof again you don’t have any sense/expertise for real competition or rivalry. Maybe for highly sweating butts.
I wrote that Nadal is the most difficult to beat, Roger and Novak are more vulnerable for upsets.
But no matter what you are dreaming about, Novak beat the unbeatable more often than lost against him.

He beat him more but not where it mattered the most. :bye: Just like Connors won more titles but not where it mattered the most. :bye: Right now it's 19-16 and 9-6 both for Nadal against Djokovic where it matters the most. :bye:

:bye::bye::bye::bye::bye::bye::bye::bye::bye::bye::bye::bye::bye::bye::bye::bye::bye:

19:16 when looking at general slam success , yes.
9:6 or without retirement 7:6 looking at their personal rivalry, no. Such a long, intense and for actual tennis significant rivalry summarises every single match, set and point, Novak wins this. He and I think also Roger are the only player with the plan and the abilities to do that continuously .
This is not about behaviour/sportsmanship, playing style or the tics, it’s only about numbers based on their 1:1 rivalry.

Bonaca, please don't kid yourself. You and other Novak fans dismissed the nextgen's threat to Novak as not that important since they beat him in regular tournaments and not in slams. You guys said that once they can beat him in slams where he's a different beast then they are a threat. That saids it all on whether meetings in slams vs elsewhere are on the same level or not. I don't plan to waste more time with you so please have a great day. This is the last post on the subject cause you keep going in circles.

Again the nextgen isn’t the issue, it’s only about Novak and Nadal, for me at least. You permanently distract from the topic and manoeuvre around.
But we finally agree, it’s enough and it’s also a waste of time to communicate with you.

Ralph is practicing . If he still has ab issues, the most important effect will be that his serves will be weak.

He's compensated for weak serving a good part of his career. My worry is that, where he compensates for the lack of spin he gets from these lower bouncing surfaces, if this isn't what stresses his core. He should forget the spin, go flatter, create less torque when it's going to do too little good.

His doctor from Barcelona said this kind of injury have no effect on his baseline game. Only on serving and smashes.
I think it is a handicap, at least mentally. It’s normal to be worried that it doesn’t get worse, that could be enough not to play freely.
I think he decides during the practice sessions what’s the best, he will not risk the AO.

Interesting that you say "he should forget the spin, go flatter" create less torque".
Remember I suggested the same thing about 6 years ago and that idiot BS stated I was a moron.

It's a huge handicap and he cannot be that competitive vs This rogue of tennis champions IMO..

I meant in this particular situation, given surface and his dodgy abs. But he has learned to flatten out his shots in the right moment and it has worked for him.

Well I just heard Nadal only has to win 2 of his RR matches at the YEC; so it may be just about over for YE #1 ranking! Shame; what a waste of those dead weeks going onto Nadal's total! He'll never catch up to either Fedovic! :nono:     :ptennis:

Tough opener for Fed on the 1st nite! If he goes 3 with or w/o a win, it'll cost him IMO! He needs to jump on Thiem early and often!

Hopefully not literally.

If it weren't for all his injuries, Nadal would be the one already with over 300 weeks at no.1 and Federer/Djokovic wouldn't be even close to him. Nadal getting a 5th YE#1 and passing 200 weeks at no.1 after missing so many tournaments year after year would be a stunning feat and JUSTICE finally prevailing. Let's hope he's healed and ready to play.

Theim obviously has good cred over Roger on all surfaces. What do we think about Djokovic v. Berrettini, given that they've never met?

Also, I see that Day 2 is set: Nadal v. Zverev (5-0 H2H), and Medvedev v. Tsitsipas (5-0 H2H.) I didn't realize that Medvedev had such a lead on the Greek.

Moxie..I know what you meant..but remember how BS said I was out of my mind because he said Rafa couldn't NEVER flatten out his forehand. Crickets now about that subject

Yes I realised it last time they played.
Daniil seems very motivated since tsitsipussy called him a bullshit Russian and than ran of the court in Miami masters.
