Everyone and tour and most here praise his mental focus, but you can't seem to relate that to deliberateness in his behavior. Like I said before the tournament the biggest priority to me is to get that 5th year-end no.1 and those extra weeks at no.1. This has been accomplished.

That being said I’d love to see Nadal continue winning his matches and even win the tournament but I’m already satisfied it has been an amazing year.
