I am going to repost this message from Tented ( Administrator) on July 11th,2021

The nature of the Fans thread (this one and the ones for Federer and Novak) is to have a safe space,so to speak, where fans can discuss their favorite players without having others come in to criticize them or to make fun of them. These things can be done elsewhere..

Exactly. I was away from the site for a couple of days, so I’m just now seeing what’s been going on in this thread.

@BratSrbin @Fjaka2.0 — I’ll repeat what @kskate2 (the other administrator) and I have told others in reference to this and the other relevant threads: “Fan” threads for Novak, Federer, and Nadal are the equivalent of fan clubs. They are not places where people can add posts making fun of, criticizing, or mocking those players, nevertheless engage in GOAT debates. There are nearly 7,000 threads on this site where that can be done. That you can’t criticize, make fun of, or mock three players in three threads is not a hardship.

From Christopher Clarey,
Rafael Nadal 17 straight seasons in the year-end Top10.Quite an achievement, even more so for a man whose had to fight so many injuries through the years.

From Marca,

According to reports from Spain,Rafa Nadal will not be playing the ATP Cup which begins at the start of 2022 (1st January) in Sydney, the competition will also be missed by Spaniards Carlos Alcaraz and Marcelo Granollers both are preparing for the Australian Open.
Nadal is expected back on court at the Abu Dhabi exhibition om December 17.So that should signal the 20-time Grand Slam champion is in good shape for Melbourne, and he's decided not to push himself too hard before the Australian Open.

Rafa is on the entry list for a ATP250 tournament in Melbourne starting on the 4th-9th January, 2022,this is a proviso that all goes well after his exhibition tournament in Abu Dhabi on December 17th 2021.

No idea if Lopez is a good coach, but he's Rafa's good friend, and he likes to be surrounded by his pals.
If the other Lopez brother Feli could teach Rafa how to serve like he does, Rafa could win more slams

Marc Lopez will travel with Rafa to Abu Dhabi, next week, for their first test as a team ( this is not Lopez's first coaching role, previously worked with Felicino Lopez, another former doubles partner).

Thanks, Carol! That's a nice way for Rafa to honor back to RG.
