If the tour starts up post Wimbledon (July)then as things stand, this would be the longest non-injury related match play sabbatical that Nadal (and most players) has had in his professional career.

It’s hard to take an extended break these days because of defending computer ranking points, mandatory tournaments, sponsorships,etc.

I know that in the past Chris Evert and Johnny Mac took extended breaks from the tour because they were fried mentally ( Borg’s retirement started initially as that), and many veterans have commented that keeping mentallytough/motivated gets harder as the years go by.

With perhaps at least another 3 months off, Just curious as to how Rafa’s body/mental state will be if/when tournament play starts up again.
