Ferrer-Dimitrov is intriguing . A Ferrer match is always a good test for any player to test their clay legs.

Beside Dimi's match, I am very interested in Tsonga - Fognini and Raonic-Robredo.
Milos says he has worked on his movement and he will need to play well to be able to beat such a seasoned veteran on his best surface.
Also he wants to perform better on clay this year, a victory tomorrow would be a step in the right direction.

dimitrov has to beat ferrer.. it would be a good win to defeat old daveeeeeed on clay.

it would be like putting down a speech bubble marker saying "yippee I'm rather good now".

^ That will be one to watch. I'll still put my money on Ferrer.

Stan gets a walkover, as Almagro got a foot pain and Milos Raopnic wins in straight sets: 6-4, 6-3 against Robredo.

Very pleased to see Raonic producing a solid result here as well, this being his 3rd consecutive QF in a master, his first here in Monte Carlo on clay.

Fognini looks like collapsed mentally in his match with JWT:
5-7, 6-3, 6-0

Roger's match took place when I was on my way to work, I saw nothing. Anyone watched? Score suggests no issues, but I am curious about the groundies...

I thought Fed was ok hitting his ground strokes. When whatshisname decided to expand his tennis IQ by directing and hitting to Fed's forehand, Fed release the brake, pull the clutch and drove the bus over his opponent

I thought Stan will meet Verdasco, Almagro and Robredo in a row. Finally, he ends up not
meeting any of them. Now, the question is can he finish the tournament without meeting
any Spaniards at all?:lolz:

No black tape on Nole's arm today, up 3-0 against Busta

Novak gets sufficient number of mini non-challenges against dirt ballers.
He had a old dirt baller in the form of Montanes before, now he is getting
fairly new dirt baller in the form of PCB. Next he may get GGL. Good
practice for ND against dirt ballers.

I definitely did not expect Tsonga to win against Fognini. Fognini had a very good
clay season so far (including a win against Murray) and Tsonga was in terrible form
coming in to this tournament.

At least today he's getting in some more hitting. Busta has nice depth and decent speed on his shots. Still got bageled that first set.

After gifting a mercy game to Busta, back to lethal precision. 4-1
Matches have all gone rather quickly today.

After losing the one game, wins the next 12 points to finish it 6-1
