Impressed by Kenin's level since she employed Michael Joyce ( ex Pova coach ) for the IW and Miami tournaments as her father who is usually her coach, isnt had the best of health, I dont know after Miami finishes if this will be a permanent arrangement, she defeated the 28th seed Kalinina 63 64

Sorana Cirstea has become Caroline Garcia's (5) 'Kryptonite' defeating her again in Miami in straight sets 62 63, Sorana defeated Caroline at IW 4th Rd in 3 sets
New coach Tomas Johnansson has really instilled a new confidence and balance in Sorana's game. Well done Sorana!

Thank God Martina Navratilova is cancer free..The Lord is Always so good.. listening to her comments is like getting a free tennis lesson. Not ONLY could she play the game as well as anyone could but her tennis IQ is astonishing..
Definitely. She's quite intelligent, a remarkable player and a great student of the game.

I believe some of the toilets near these courts take some time for the players to get to
Why not hire some of those 'portable toilets' right near the courts, players are getting time violation's for going over time during a match, going to the toilet

Sabalenka had a MTO looks like she had a 'tweak around her upper thigh" maybe a hamstring 64 0-2 against Shelby Rogers
Saba gets the break back, on serve 3 all 2nd set
Breaks again and will serve for the match 5-3, Sabalenka d Rogers 64 63
Her movement was hampered and couldnt serve at 100% after having a leg injury at the beginning of the 2nd set, though Saba toughed it out and won the match in SS

I thought Andreescu d Sakkari was a good match, even though my first choice was Maria. Good to see Bibi back. And good win for Sabalenka.

Some words of wisdom from Mats Medicated Wilander,

" The explanation why Swiatek hasn't been winning as much this year as she did last year is because players have figured out how to play her".
Well Mat we have been saying that at TF for sometime, by the way, thanks for your input :)

Going three between Haddad Maia and Ostapenko 26 64

Heat rule effect in Miami today
10 minute break in Ostapenko - Haddad Maia, play has recommenced

Ostapenko (24) defeats Haddad Maia (13) 62 46 63
Osta was down 1-3 in set 3, South American fans always show up for Bea. Osta thrives on that energy, if you get in her face, she'll get in yours :)

That was a 'crazy 1st set of tennis' Coco just won 76 (8) over Potapova, whose grunting leaves a lot to be desired.
Coco broken while serving for the match back on serve 5 all 2nd set
Both ladies serves in this match have let them down at crucial times, I know it is hot and humid, still take a bit more time while serving.
Potapova breaks and will serve for the 2nd set 6-5
Potapova wins the 2nd set 75, going three sets
This match suspended while the players take a 10 min heat rule relief
