I don't know. Maybe she is, but I would hope she wouldn't keep playing if she was carrying a bambino.
Going on some of her matches this year, where she looked disinterested, that thought crossed my mind, though why would she hire a new coach in Roig for 2023? when I saw her in the white outfit like you she has put on some weight, though white isnt a good choice, if you have put on some weight.

Frosty handshake there at the net from Giorgi. What's she got to complain about?

Krejcikova/Sinialova have withdrawn from the doubles, No 1 seeds, Siniakova had to retire in her singles match, with a wrist injury, that gives the No 2 doubles seeded team Gauff/Pegula, at the bottom half of the draw a shot, though I feel the bottom half of the draw is tougher.

Rybakina has gone now to a different level in the 2nd set against Kalinskaya leading 4-1, won the 1st set 75
Of course when I typed that Elena loses focus on her service game and is broken back on serve 4-3 2nd set,
Well Kalinskaya has got a second wind in this 2nd set, after a exchange with her coach between service game 4 all 2nd set
This is a complete turnaround, Elena shots missing their mark, DF, and Kalinskaya breaks and will serve for the 2nd set 5-4
Coming back from 4-1 down Kalinskaya wins the 2nd set 64, 1 set all going 3,
Rybakina d Kalinskaya 75 46 63, she has stated that her goal is to win the Sunshine Double
Credit to Kalinskaya coming back from 4-1 down in the 2nd set to win 64, she made Elena work for the win today!

Friday matches 24th March,

Ons Jabeur (4) vs Q Vavara Gracheva H2H Jabeur 1-0 Madrid 2022 in 3 sets. Ons still trying to find her game after having knee surgery, this is her 2nd tournament, she has said she is about 80%., needs match play.
Aryna Sabalenka (2) vs Shelby Rogers H2H Sabalenka 3-0
Sabalenka has a great opportunity to close the gap between herself and the No 1 player Iga Swiatek who withdrew with injury.Sabalenka is only defending 10 points here, after losing in her first match in Miami in 2022.
Carolina Garcia (5) vs Sorana Cirstea, after losing to Cirstea in the 4th rd in 3 sets at IW, Garcia finds herself facing Cristea again in her first match, Garcia has won their 2 previous matches, though Cirstea has shown a 'new built confidence' since she hired former mens player Tomas Johansson as her coach and seems more balanced as well.
Popcorn Match,
Maria Sakkari (7) vs Bianca Andresscu H2H is 1 all
Andreescu won their 2021 SF in Miami in 2021 in 3 sets ( 2 were TB) and later that year Sakkari won in a 4th Rd match in 3 sets ( 2 were TB).This is a prime example of players like the calibre of Andreescu not getting their ranking up and now facing in her 2nd rd match a high seed like Sakkari, though to be fair Andreescu has had time of the tour with injuries.

Great SP from Bianca Andreescu and she's forced Maria Sakkari to a 3rd set, quite a battle on the big stadium, as the script always goes with these 2 players, when playing each other, their matches always goes 3 sets.
( Sakkari 75 1st set, Andreescu 63 2nd set)

this decider between them leaves much to be desired. messy match and based on the body language I can't tell who's winning. :face-with-symbols-on-mouth:
Always a physical battle between these 2, 3rd set is a mess, breaks of serves,

Ons is still back too early in my view. Should just take another 2-3 weeks and come back for Stuttgart or Madrid

Agree she said the knee was about 80%, from what I saw of the match, because I have been watching the mess match between Maria and Bianca, she was struggling.

After a 3 hour battle Bianca Andreescu defeats Maria Sakkari (7) 57 63 64
It might have been ugly and messy in ways, though Bianca needed this win, defeating a Top ten player ( it is her 11th career win against a top 10 player)
Three hours?! Wow. No wonder when I turned on the tennis a little while ago Fritz’s match was early in the first set.
