Wozniaki on TC making a big thing out of Zverev's Type 1 diabetes. I don't remember this being an excuse before. What happened? They keep talking about him injecting himself with insulin. Why would this matter today and not before? Not unsympathetic, but why is it unregulated today?

No idea if this is related, but i recall the match at the 2019 ATP finals where some thought he was fumbling with what seemed his phone during a match. Just random speculating now after the fact if it was a device to monitor his insulin levels.

Just some updated news regarding Gael Monfils, who had to retire in his match due to a wrist injury in Miami,

" I will do test and then there will be treatments. I don't know if I'll have if for two, six or more weeks. If they tell me I broke my wrist and will have it for nine months, well, I'll have to think about it.But I don't think I'll have to stay still for that long".

I do remember that incident, but I thought we did learn that it was for his insulin, and that was the first we'd learned of his diabetes. I'm sure it could behave erratically, I guess, but since it had never much up before, I was surprised. Obviously, he and his team do a great job of managing when he eats, etc. As all athletes do, but a diabetic one would have to be especially careful. But something could go off once in a while, I'm sure.
