At least I could sit and watch this one. That 09 final cost me 3 good cubans and a shit load of single malt whiskey to deal with it! Never been so stressed! That tie break alone almost destroyed me
I have the complete mental picture of you on the balcony smoking cigars. How much of that match did you actually watch?

I felt sorry for Roddick that day, but I wanted Roger to win.
Understood. I was actually surprised by how much Fed fans have chimed in to feeling a bit bad. If it had been Rafa winning, I'd have been relieved, as well. But it was a tough loss. Nice to know that everyone does have a soul.

Some random power issue delaying the start of Coric v. Zverev.

This is a bit of a revelation that you would play chess and miss a Wimby final with Roger in it. Interesting to know. But that would change your relationship to that match. It was such a nail-biter, even with no skin in the game. And Roddick didn't blink until the very end.

It was for the best cause of all, my bank account. The bars and certain gold-digging, fun loving sluts of Milwaukee thanked me. Oh if I could be so young and dumb again :)

Well it was a tournament in Philadelphia. You have to pay to enter as well as the airfare and travel so it was gambling or investing depending on how you look at it. But many of those guys go to those tournaments for fun or ranking.

I was on a work call. That went fast! Good on Zverev. I put too much stake in Coric. I'll have to watch the rerun.

Didn't watch the match, but it does seem that Sascha has re-righted the ship. Good to see the "flagship" of the Next Gen fleet doing well again.

Hope del Potro not only wins this but also assassinate the other players by firing forehands to their throats.

Nope, that is obviously you when Federer is playing :p ....what a *****
Now you have to wait for a while to dance, Federer doesn't like the clay too much, only the blue one lol

Haha! I can't imagine I actually saw more than two sets. Bear in mind that where I lived at the time, if I was outside I could actually hear the cheers of the crowd. So I didn't need to see the match to know what was going on.

Coric-Zverev match wasn't the best, first at all it was behind schedule almost one hour and a half because a electric problem (one of the court lights wasn't working) both players started to play doing many errors but later Zverev got a little better while Coric still was doing error by error Today while Delpo and Isner have had one day off Zverev and Carreno are playing but at night, at least they have a little more hours to rest.
And yes, I will cheer for Carreno and not only because he is Spaniard but because I like more than the conceited German
Delpo and Isner? who knows, the Argentine says that he has pain all over the body and is very tired.....by the way Ivanisevic has said about the trainer call "Delpo acted like he was injured, he is a master doing that, he did the same in IW"

Delpo seems exhausted, hope he can win nevertheless

That sunshine double ain't easy. Isner takes Delpo out. Only watched the last few games. I have to say, I've never seen Isner look as dynamic as he does right now. Where did this come from. His forehand looked bigger than Juan Martin's today

I too watched the second half of second set of JI vs. JMDP. Isner was serving big as expected. But, his play was also better despite expectations. He actually closed out the match by winning two consecutive points of JMDP's serve. Hope Sasha make it to final though. If it is PCB vs. Isner, I am not going to bother to watch it.

Not only I played like a retard today and I get home and find that del Potro lost to Isner. I hate tennis and everyone that likes it.

He got married not a long time ago. That might be the inspiring source.
