First step in trying to beat Carlos is to get him 'off balance from the baseline' good luck
It's not easy to do, but can be done. It starts w/ the serve. You have to serve smartly. Into the body, mix it up and don't become predictable. Take care of your serve and then be aggressive in the return games. Also take the net away from him. If you come in wisely and first then you can control the forecourt.

One of the comparisons to Nadal is his ability to turn a set around. Kid has a great head, terrific patience and belief.

Alcaraz wins the first set, 7-5. At the end of the day, Ruud's backhand is just not a reliable shot especially against a player like Alcaraz.

Carlos in the zone now. He will be very tough to beat with a set and break lead. He's just 4 games away now from his first masters title.
