I read Thiem was blaming the organizers for his loss yesterday, stating he was "exhausted" after being kept around the whole day on Wednesday. According to him, they should have called the cancellation a lot earlier.
I find it ridiculous 25y old guy getting exhausted, while the guy who best him is 35 and he had to deal with the same treatment.

Even though it is a bad result for Thiem, I think it may be a blessing in disguise for him. He generally tends to play too many tourneys and end up with not much in the tank for the Slam. This year, he may have full tank at RG.

That just means HE'S OLD! I know that, which is why he's slowing down and allowing the NG'rs to run his arse around for 3 hours!
No actually what it means is that he isn’t a pussy and those who live with kittens should perhaps not throw stones ;)

It means if you look at the walkovers and retirements as a percentage of total matches played, the stats are more pathetic for Rafa and Nole than it appears when presented with just numbers.

JMDP serves an ace to hold the game 6-6 Tb time.

Can JMDP show the door to Nole.

I think only if he wins in right now. He's showing a great level for someone who's barely back from long injury break, but he played 2 matches yesterday, and he's probably less fit than Novak atm.
