I can't understand why Rafa is playing doubles with Verdasco instead with Lopez...they have done pretty well before :puzzled

Actually , they played pretty well last night, unfortunately Rafa had too many hiccups serving in the super Tiebreaker. Verdasco also had a hiccups in his last service game in the 2nd set .They're are a good team and I wouldn't be surprised to see them capture the gold in Rio

Rafa and his serve.....grrrrr......why?

Just caught the last game of Zverev-Grigor. Solid win for the youngster.

Grigor is slipping and slipping. And slipping. Totally unreliable. I don't know what way to assess this bloke...

He's Safinesque in his prowess - more in the bedroom, very little on court. Hope Davin pulls the plug on coaching that clown.

Have not heard of the phrase "If you cannot beat them, just join them". :snicker

Novak loses the first set to Frantangelo from Pittsburgh. The kid is hitting well no doubt, but there is no crispness in Djoker's shots. :cover

Novak hasn't played forever, probably a bit rusty. Don't sweat it, nehmeth.

You're right, Kelli. Looks like Mikhail Kukushkin took him to five sets.

You have to hand it to the kid. He's got moxie. Going after his shots and trying to push Djoker around.

Yes, he played very ugly tennis in that match. From what I heard the courts were extremely slow, and he may have tweaked something. Seeing his rather lethargic play in the first set here was a little disconcerting.

The little I saw of Djoker.. it seem that he was playing against a player that was agressive and hitting his spots.. Rafa played the 2nd and 3rd set like he was trying to save his legs for a golfing session with Larry E

Yesterday was a tough day (and worse at night) to play because the gusts of wind but the ones that knew to handle it better were the winners

Raonic - Tomic 6-2, 3-0 RET.
Milos is in good form, as he was at the AO, but also Bernie was struggling with a wrist injury, the same as he was nursing at the DC matches.

Murray lost the first set to Delbonis 4-6.
