He was broken twice in the first set. He managed to get one back, but not the second time.

Prediction: Milos Raonic wins at least a Masters this year. He just seems due (as does Kei).

What is new? This is typically how Andy behaves. Just because, he is dad you thought he would have grown up? :nono

So, in official matches, since he became a father, Andy is 0-1. Great. Hey, at least he won't get drubbed in the final again. Leave it to Raonic or whoever.
And why is Murray's movement so bad? He runs like a wounded animal. You would think that with his stature and now slower movement the dude can blast winners from both wings, but nope... He keeps hitting slow spinny shots that barely make it past the service line.

In. Andy's defense, he gave it his all at DC vs Japan

DC matches are also official and are traditionally counted in a player's win loss record.

Novak and Nadal had difficult openers and Murray didn't survive his. Roger is probably laughing and glad he sat this one out.

Berdych not having much difficulty against the mighty Coric. :snicker

rafanoy, thanks for posting the picks... but no selfie?? :popcorn

Sorry nehmeth, I don't like selfies :D

As for your favorite, Novak Djokovic: Man, I could see on why other players are having a hard time beating him these days. Even at live practice, he is so balance and have great reflex. It's hard to put the ball by pass against him. Literally, Taylor Fritz hit the ball as hard as he can, but Djokovic returned it with ease. He put Fritz in some awkward positions in some of those practice rallies.

By the way, he is still "edgy" even at practice :snicker

Thanks brother. Yes, he is pretty intense during his practice sessions.

Coric looked good to me. Although he showed no aggression at all until the score was 5-4 40-15 in the second set, he did play well towards the end. He could not come up with the goods in the TB but that is understandable; he is only 19. His shots looked good to me. His style and technique was good. He only needs to add some aggression to his game. I really think he has the mentality required to be a top 5 player. I think he is better than the other teenagers at the moment.

You make it sound like Roger chose to have a surgery instead of making a fool of himself playing at IW

I am sure he skipped this event at the advise of his doctor.
