Borna Coric handily defeats Bellucci in two sets. Borna's looking good.

Tiafoe is going to be good. He's pretty raw, making lots of errors and gets a bit flustered at every lost point, but he also seems to have the skills and the swagger to be a top 10 player.

A really nice group of young Americans:
Taylor Fritz (18)
Francis Tiafoe (18)
Jared Donaldson (19)
Tommy Paul (18)
Noah Rubin (20)
Stefan Kozlov (18)

Who's Tiafoe"s coach Ernest Gublis+? Man that's a funky wind up on his fh

Yeah, his serve is weird, too - very quick, like he's swatting a fly.

The umpire just gave Obi Wan a time code violation, I thought only Rafa gets those penalties, lol

I didn't think much of Tiafoe when I first saw him because of his terrible mechanics, but he did improve quite a bit recently.

Some remarkable upsets yesterday, pulled off by: Mayer, Kuznetsov and Pella defeating Troicki, Chardy and Cuevas respectively.

rafanoy, thanks for posting the picks... but no selfie?? :popcorn

Sorry nehmeth, I don't like selfies :D

As for your favorite, Novak Djokovic: Man, I could see on why other players are having a hard time beating him these days. Even at live practice, he is so balance and have great reflex. It's hard to put the ball by pass against him. Literally, Taylor Fritz hit the ball as hard as he can, but Djokovic returned it with ease. He put Fritz in some awkward positions in some of those practice rallies.

By the way, he is still "edgy" even at practice :snicker

Next year, I will try to watch some Murray and Federer practices. They are the only Big 4 players who have I not seen practice live. Heck, I have not seen Federer play a match live either!

As for the young guns, I will try to watch Fritz again and hopefully see Zverev and Coric practice in the practice courts.

Sorry, I don't feel Tiafoe yet...

I can't understand why Rafa is playing doubles with Verdasco instead with Lopez...they have done pretty well before :puzzled

Though it seems they didn't play so bad even losing against the best doubles couple

Because he thinks he could learn some stuff from Fernando, who lately owns him

Actually , they played pretty well last night, unfortunately Rafa had too many hiccups serving in the super Tiebreaker. Verdasco also had a hiccups in his last service game in the 2nd set .They're are a good team and I wouldn't be surprised to see them capture the gold in Rio
