Not gonna bother watching the rest. 2nd set will be 6-3 or 6-2 to Novak.

How did Rafa play today? Good enough to bother Nole in the semis?

Pretty well but Nishikori wasn't great either. Nadal's serving was good, high first serve % but nothing too fast so it's hard to gauge against a guy who isn't a world beater when it comes to returning. Nishkori's serve as usual was poor and he netted way too many easy balls.

Overall, he's playing well enough to challenge him alright. Novak though isn't playing too sharp much of the time but will raise his game tomorrow no doubt as he wants to make it 25-23.

Perfect example there of how Tsonga will always be an also ran. 40-15 up and he has a big serve and should've won that game easily but managed to hit some pathetic serves there and lose that game like a total donkey.

Sticking with my prediction of 6-3 or 6-2 this set to Novak. Tsonga will win 1 more game at best imo and possibly none.

Well Tsonga, you have exceeded my expectations :p :clap

Absolutely.. Rafa played probably the best tennis he played all year.. Hopefully he can maintain this level for the Semi vs Djoker

Dont be so hard on folks Front.. Rafa deserves to celebrate because he is trying to build his confidence while you continue to try to bury he prematurely. As for JoWillieTs, even if he doesnt when this match, do you see what he has waiting for him when he leaves the court:blush:, Never a LOSER with that lady.:basiate

3 points won in two tiebreaks. Tsonga should be ashamed. :cover At least we're due a good semi hopefully.

Who cares how Rafa celebrates the wins, good for him and more watching the Novak's body language every time that he loses a point, I can imagine if he would be in Rafa's shoes how he would react......

Very close and entertaining match. All quarters are straight sets, but Nole-Tsonga is closest, by both score and points. Any surprised?

He also played some of his worst of the year. A better player would have won the first set 6-love before rafa found his game. But he did play a good bit better in starting in 6th or so game.

But he is not better player than Rafa so that result is very logic....8-1
