Bringing Serena to net is the best way to beat her. Vika can do that with drop shots. Unfortunately, I expect DF will be her undoing. Vika is now ranked 11, and should return to top ten after Miami.

I can't believe the number of times Serena dumped shots into the net. I mean I get it isn't her strong suit, but Jesus...come on Patrick and get on that because it is painfully obvious to everyone. Painfully!

Serena says that in practice her net game is fine. It just does not transition during matches. The more pressure she is under, the worst her net game. I guess she can't be good at everything.

I think Vika s wins against Rena were giveaways....the first win was when Serena was injured,second in Doha she had a very bad cold and the third I think she didnt want to go into the Open with pressure of being favorite...these were not outright wins

This is matchup is really Serena's toughest competitor from the baseline. Tossip and GSM I won't try to change your opinions about Kika but for a tennis fan,, this is a good as it gets in regards to the best in the women's tour as far as shot makers. IMO
