So what set Mary Carillo off about Serena this time during her match with Simona? I mean it doesn't take much, but I would genuinely like to know what her problem was this time. I guess she is upset her golden girl faltered and now she really has egg on her face.

I wasn't at home last night so I had to DVR it. I'll watch it tonight and get back to you. Starting today, I think all the coverage switches over to ESPN.

Tossip, those fans are just rooting for the pride of their country, they are not rowdy people unlike the obnoxious Serbs that travel to cause Trump like disturbance during Djokovic matches

it would have been a disaster if they had started being rowdy likethey did last year at the Miami event....they make me nervous with their fandom..I never watch Jokovic matches he is kinda boring to watch .I think I only watched the French Open final when he lost to Wawrinka...

Serena star is going to get brighter this year and he must be missing the limelight.Azarenka is not a celebrity and doesnt attract the media attention he is craving...he got this little attention because of Serena not Azarenka..to be honest I think he misses the Serena entourage and everything that comes with it.I like that guy that hits with Serena..he knows his place and stays out of Serena s way...the way he talked about being called at 3 am...jeez I could feel his nostalgia through the screen.

As I see it, Serena definitely beats Aga, and Azarenka will probably beat Pliskova.

I think we're heading towards a Williams/Azarenka final.

I mentioned to you last year that hitting partner Robbie is a good guy and an extremely talented ball striker. I observed him working with the juniors at my tennis club in the suburbs of Chicago. I see one huge flaw in Serena, her net game. I would hope that they could get a former pro like Martina N or etc to teach Serena to keep her feet moving forward and keeping her racket head up to get her more stable at the net. IMO

yes her net game is now none existent...Robbie seems reserved and private..he can say he was there when Serena won three slams..
