Sam Querry lost promptly in the first round and now has more time to look for a bride. :snicker

Oh you saw him on "Million Dollar Match Maker" huh? It's amazing how many people I know are looking for love like that including Querrey, "Top Chef: Desserts" winner Yigit Pura, and a big time poker player, Daniel Negraneau! :dodgy:

I dont understand why in 86F heat Murray and Kokkinakis wore black in their doubles match.
Nice to see my young Aussie get the experience playing with Murray, probably it would not be advisable for him to play doubles with Nick, who is just coming back from a back injury at IW

Now Federer is critizing IW and Miami MS because are too close, then what about RG and Wimbledon which are GS and diferent surface and also are too close? any complain about it?

Did you even bother to read the article which had
Federer's opinions on this topic. His complaint was not that IW and M are too close. His complaint
is that about 5 days of his time (if he is successful at IW) and up to 14 days (if unsuccessful at IW)
are getting wasted as he (and of course other players) had to wait for M to begin after getting
eliminated at IW.

It is really a good decision to skip M for Fed. You skip only one ATP 1000 event, but you
get two weeks off. On the other hand, if he skips MC for example, he again misses only
one ATP 1000, but gets only one week off.
Even the winner of IW has to wait for 5 days to begin playing in M due to draw size
being 96 and the first round bye.

Don't be so defensive, I have not criticed Rogers's critizing, I've said if ithere are also some complains about RG and Wimbledon which are scheduled in all the ways even worse than IW and Miami :-/

I am not being defnesive, i am just being offensive. Contrary to what you say, Roger is not critical about IW and M being close. Actually, he wants them even closer so that he does not waste time in between the two tourney if he chooses to play in both.

Sooo ... people don't have time to qualify?
or they have to pick which one to try qualifying in?

Say a qualifier does well in IW. They're totally done in Miami coz they've already started the qualifying. How about their time being wasted being in US for nothing?
