Get your popcorn ready!! Starts tonight with Bulls @ Miami followed by Clippers @ Lakers

Bulls @ Miami will feel more like a late season or playoff game because I really think the Bulls will be desperate to make a point.

I'm actually fairly similar to Didi, I don't watch that much during the regular season which I feel is 20 games too long. Come playoff time I'm glued to the TV.

I watch most of the regular season. It's the only way to keep up with changing lineups, storylines, etc.

I can still keep up. I used to do fantasy basketball and would be totally burned out by February. Talk about being too involved... I drafted for my brother yesterday and didn't even recognize some of the names.

The Bulls have the best regular season record since Coach Tibs have been in charge. However, it hasn't translated into the post season, I will save my pop corn for the NFL

Regular season only matters so much. Having the best player on the court is a greater advantage in the playoffs than HCA. That said, HCA is a big deal and if the Bulls want a legit chance to beat Miami they will need it.

Pretty disappointing game last night. Miami's D was nasty and the Bulls with a rusty D Rose had no answers. Caught a little of the Lakers-Clips game where defense was more optional. Good win for the Lakers.

The Bulls still have not addressed the scoring issue when Rose is on the bench or double-teamed. Reinsdorf just won't spend the necessary money to bring in a competent and skilled 2-guard. Dunleavy is their answer? :nono Really?

They'll be alright once Rose gets going but the announcers (mainly Miller I think) made a good point that they don't have the scoring down low that can really hurt Miami. Boozer and Noah can a little bit but that's a far cry from Lopez and KG on the Nets and Hibbert and West on the Pacers. The Bulls D is good enough that they are a threat to Miami but they need to dominate the glass to really have a good chance I think.

But what good is dominating the glass if they don't have a capable 3 pt shooter to pass it to? Should have kept BellyNelly. :D

If a team dominates the glass it doesn't matter if they only shoot 40%. Also it keeps Lebron from fast breaks which is one of the most important parts of defending the Heat.

One day you will listen to me about the Bulls vs Heat, I think the post I wrote a few weeks ago is pretty accurate

Would you please stop describing "the Heat" as if they are worth a damn?

They are horrible in so many ways. It's a 2-man team.

Basketball is mostly an individual sport my friend. As long as you don't surround the best players with total garbage you will be competing for rings. Look at all of history and you almost never see a team win it if they don't have one of, if not the best player in the league. Pistons 2004 is the HUGE exception to that rule. Other than that, I'm hard pressed to think of another team that's won it since start of 90's without a top 5 player and almost all have been with top 3 players.

And we've had this discussion before... just how many teams in the league have more than 2-3 "good" players? The Heat are bad in a couple ways but Lebron makes up for it. Look at the Bulls of the 90's with big men who couldn't dream of scoring aside from Ho Grant in the 1st 3-peat.

It's time to start taking the Golden State Warriors very serious. I had seats last night when the Warriors beat OKC at the buzzer with a game winning shot by Andre Iggy( I can't spell his name ). The Warriors are young , exciting and Coach Mark Jackson is growing as a 2 year coach. The Warriors shoot a great percentage and will get better defensively. If they get home court advantage in that arena it's goona be Hell to win a playoff series against that team.

I like the Warriors too but will they get better defensively is the question. A healthy Bogut could be key to their success, unfortunately I don't know if such a creature (a healthy Bogut) exists. Just saw the box score and see that Jermaine O'Neal is still around. That guy used to be awesome, but injuries washed him up quick. He got one hell of an amazing punch in the Palace Brawl.

Good point about the Warriors not be defensive minded team like the Bulls. However, unlike the Bulls this team can just run their opponents right out of the "Barn". Step Curry, Klay Thompson, Barnes, David Lee and Andre Iggy are going to be the new "Showtime".. trust me.. I think SI just had Step Curry on the recent cover. Bogut is in tremendous shape and is almost unrecognizable these days unlike the days Darth when he first came into the league with the Milwaukee Bucks. Jermaine O'Neal can still take up space and play in this league since there isn't any more SHAQ or truly dominant centers(Dwight is just a blown up forward with a low basketball IQ). If the Warriors get homecourt advantage, they could go far in the playoffs.

Great win in Chitown tonight for the Bulls over the Pacers. Maybe they can finally get back on track.

Apparently they've won 5 in a row since I left town. Maybe I should leave more often. :D

As they always do Murat and Parker was largely absent last night. Spurs/Pacers final anyone?
