Clay, Step and K Irving was phenomenal! That's it 4 me, the slam dunk hasn't been good since Vince Carter and Tracey Mcgrady

I just like his execution. He's completing these on the first try.

3 point contest was entertaining as expected, too bad Klay shot badly in the end because it robbed it of a climax. If Steph had gone last it would have ended on a better note but overall I'd say it delivered.

The slam dunk contest was kind of meh. Lavine was terrific, smooth and effortless, but at the same time, I'm growing a bit tired of seeing different variations of the in between the legs dunk (3 out of his 4 dunks were of that nature).

I thought Oladipo's second dunk was unfairly poorly received because it was quite spectacular. I'll admit, his first dunk, had he nailed it on the first try, would have been sensational. Problem is his performance in the final round was quite bad. I don't understand why he would try dunks that don't come even close. You either perfect that in practice or it's too late.

Also, can we please stop getting Dr. J? He looks like he'd rather be anywhere else, and has the grumpy old man look. Can't fully blame him but still. Watching him randomly pulling out numbers was irritating.

BS , u don't really understand. Even higher respect than even Jordan is Dr J..Dr J is the pure epithimy of basketball royalty, elegance and class. For most of us, he was the #1 Everyone wanted to be like. Don't F# with the Doctor.. that's a real :nono
..if you don't want to see him, I would suggest that you go play bingo while the All Star Festivities is On ..respect your elders, it wouldn't be no NBA is it wasn't for Dr J. Leave the Doc alone

No offense pushy but you really think "I don't understand" what DR J. means to the dunk contest, his contribution, etc...? I mean, it's hardly rocket science, is it?

The thing you created is a false dilemma. No, I don't care about seeing him judge if he looks like he'd rather be elsewhere, is struggling through picking a number, and seemingly gives scores almost randomly. I still want to watch the dunk contest so I'm not going to play bingo.
