Not so fast KS.. it just a tear in the meniscus.. its gonna be repaired by a scope.. it really depends on what the doctors find and Derrick's confidence.. He may be able to return in 5-6 weeks but that hasn't been Drose's approach to coming back from an injury. He can still salvage the season and the present day Bulls if he sucks it up and play through it after the procedure. It may not be as bad as previous because he has been playing and practicing.. it may be a little knee clean up. A lot of orthopedic surgeons believe that there is a chance that this may not be as dire as before. Let's play cause luv me sum Drose.

I think the Bulls will be fine without him, he hasn't exactly lit it up this year. However I do think their title hopes are gone, any chance that they could go all the way was riding on Rose playing at a high level.

Nah, it's time to stop with the false hopes re: Rose's health. I'd be amazed if he comes back this season and I'd be amazed if he's able to stay relatively healthy for any significant portion of his career. He's being Grant Hill'd, unfortunately.

I also don't think the Bulls have any legitimate shot. Even with Rose's patchy play I'd still rather have him on the team at the level he was at than not having him at all. Yes, he was hurting them in some games but he's also won them some of their biggest games as of late. I feel he's been trying to pace himself and not go too hard in order to make it through the regular season, and he would have been a little more aggressive in the playoffs and not take as many jumpers. Too bad that didn't work out. I'm still gutted for him.

Like I said before there is a chance.

The Warriors vs the Cavs.. who ya got

AP-- I think the Splash brothers(Curry and Thompson)will have a great game if AB can give them some decent center play and stop LBJ from crashing the boards)

Been a fun first half to watch, very high scoring yet I wouldn't say either team is playing bad D. Just big time offense.

This game has been poorly officiated and very bias in favor of LBJ and the Cavs. LBJ has played like a bull in the china shop. Too bad the Cavs defense and lack of center play in the middle for GS doomed their chances. They are gonna need to find a legitimate big man because as my late father would say, " Bogut isn't worth what the little boy shot at!"

A big trade for Milwaukee out of nowhere. For this season I don't really like it. Knight was their best player and by far their biggest scoring threat. And my thought on any big move/trade is there will be a lot of struggles at first. I don't think the team will keep on chugging along the same way after this trade and that's nothing against MCW it is just the normal way of things.

For the future I think this is great for Milwaukee. MCW is the type of player that Kidd can mold into more of a true PG and with Giannis developing and Parker hopefully coming back strong it will be better to have that instead of more of a shoot-first PG in Knight. Also this might free up space for a couple years by not having to sign Knight to a long deal. It would have been a tough decision come the offseason.

And this is going to be one ridiculously big team, they are long and very good defensively. If only Sanders wasn't a pothead and all around idiot...good riddance to him, but they are already darn good defensively without him and adding a 6'6 PG...it could get scary.

Okay. We will see.. BKnight can ball.. you don't find a point guard that quick and one who can break down a defense... I am not so sure about that move by the Bucks but the Suns are very happy.(Hell, if I would BKnight, going from Milwaukee to the valley of the Sun was like hitting the weather lottery.

Missed most of the 2nd half, seemed like it got away from GS quickly.

Well I think the big thing is that the Bucks would have been in a bind this offseason. Knight will demand close to a max contract and the Bucks have Giannis to sign in a couple years and Jabari in a few years. They have to look ahead. If Giannis keeps developing and Jabari comes back strong and develops you will have a team where B Knight, making 15+ mill a year, is the 3rd option as a shoot-first pg. The bigger and more all around MCW could be a bigger asset if everything goes to plan for Milwaukee. For this year they will probably be worse though.

That is actually entirely possible. I have had meniscus injuries and that is usually the timeframe. They are such a bother though. Your leg feels fine but when you try to jump it's like there is a pinch in your knee every time it bends. It's an awful feeling.

If they say 4-6 it's probably closer to 8 especially with D-Rose's history. That'd take him right up to the playoffs. If they plan on playing him again this year they might as well wait till then to bring him back

A meniscus tear in itself is common, not a big deal. The problem with Drose though, is that this stuff keeps happening to him. It happens when he plays hard, it happens when he takes it easy and sits some games out, it happens when he plays heavy duty minutes...What is happening with this guy?

Because every basketball player body type is a bit unique.. Its just of those things and we all just have to hope and pray that he is able to continue his career at a high level(may not be as high as it was in 2008-2011.

^ Hopefully he gets to a level higher than what he showed this year. But with each major injury it becomes more unlikely.

Rose is one of my favorite players. But if history is any indication, I don't think he'll opt to play again this season, even if it's physically possible.

GM Guy Foreman and team president Paxton both says that they fully expect for DRose to comeback pretty soon because it's was such a minor procedure. Drose was seen walking from the hospital afterwards and he was at the Bulls practice facility beginning rehabilitation this morning.

^ After his first bad injury he was cleared to play in February and still didn't play the entire season. At this point why rush him back?
