Well New York sucks (don't tell Cali). They'll take any road win they get, especially against a team with Bron on it.

I know they do. Which is why I was saying the triangle isn't likely to work there. They don't have the personnel to execute it properly. They should just go back to giving the ball to Melo and everyone else can pick up the scraps.

Surprisingly, the Knicks defeated LBJ and the Cavs in Cleveland.. Melo and present company do not have the personel to run the triangle.. I think that Melo is gonna regret not going to the Bulls.. why would he want to be stuck in purgatory..Its so early in the season.. I think this may be my last NBA comment for this year because it way too ealry to set expectation. I would like to take back my post from yesterday.. the Knicks are not a great team and the Lakers are worst than can imagine.. Now I hear Westbrook has fractured his right hand, the shooting hand.. Good Grief.. that poor team window may have closed a few years ago.. they have just been decimated with injuries to their superstars

Yep the Westbrook injury is really the big news from yesterday. A broken hand is probably at least 6 weeks and Durant is out all of November I think. Even with those 2 coming back they might struggle to make the playoffs out West if they are coming back to a 5-15 team or something like that.

Drose has missed two games already with ankle sprains in both feet..:nono.. I am hopeful that his body has just got to make the adjustment.. this is the reason that playing in the FIBA games made no sense, IMO. a healthy Jimmy Butler will decide if they can finally get past LBJ (doesnt matter who he plays for )

^ Brother, you really pinning your hopes on Butler vs. Lebron? All in all, the Bulls just aren't good enough, not enough scoring when you have a fragile Rose who may or may not be playing at any given point. The Spurs and other West teams can/have beaten Lebron led teams with great offense.

Nope. I am not pinning all my hopes on JB but when he is in the line up , he makes that defense the tops in the league. The Bulls has a very good bench with about four guys that can consistently hit the 3,from downtown, that being said, the Bulls will always be in the majority of their games , having a high low game with Drose and Pau could put them past LBJ

OKC will lose more games until guys get healthier, but there is a message to the coach there. I was watching them against the Raps and yeah, they lost , but Ibaka was a monster. He should not just be a total afterthought on the offence when the top dogs come back. It has been established already KD and RW are not enough by themselves to make it to the finals . Run a couple of plays for Ibaka.

Caught a little of the Bucks so far and like what I see. They are not and will not be good this year but Giannis is making good progress and you can see Kidd's effect already. The team is actually passing the ball well which I've barely seen in my lifetime. I am begrudgingly happy that Kidd is the coach, great fit for a young team...but he is an arsehole of the 1st degree and could drop them like a bad habit at any point in time.

Cool.. I have attended games up there "back in the glory days of Ray Allen, Glen Big Dog Robinson and Caldwell. ( I think they were playing the Pistons with Alan Houston and Grant Hill). I had floor seats.

How was Drose last night

Do you mean Cassell? Did he look like an alien? If so that's Sam I Am

Watching this OKC game kind of makes you realize how big every single game is to them right now. Durant and Westbrook will probably be out all of November and as good as OKC is when healthy it'd be a tough ask to make the playoffs if those two are coming back to a 3-15 team. If it was the East they could make it easily but out West the norm is usually 45+ wins to get in. Shocked to see them giving Memphis serious problems even at home.

Poor shot selection from Zebo, always been the problem for that wacky dude but he does seem to focus more come playoff time.

Spurs lose to Pelicans by 1 point at home. They are 2 & 3. They never repeated as champions so it might be the case this year as well.

Way too early there Billie. They rest guys throughout the season but eventually they will get in their groove. They are the Patriots of the NBA except even better. They will be there at the end, and almost certainly figure to be favorites out West when all is said and done barring injuries. No one except a healthy Thunders team is going to scare them right now, and sadly the Thunder are going to have serious trouble making the playoffs.

yeah, it is too early, but they usually started so well in the years when they won their championships. And I believe I am right in saying that they never repeated as champions? Also their main guys are veterans so they need to be scheduled wisely throughout the regular season, but last night they all played and lost. I like Pop and his team, BTW.:)

Golden State is playing so well, I think they can give Spurs a run for their money. I just started to watch some of the games in the last few days, hard to catch up with everything.:nono
