This season is A+++ in terms of spectacle, fun and flat out incredible scenes, but a tad below par in terms of what the show has gotten us accustomed to in terms of politics and planning.

On the Dany and allies front, it's been way too messy, and some ideas have been just flat out stupid (smuggling Tyrion into King's Landing and especially, the whole catch a White Walker alive thing). However, the latter idea set up one of the most breathtaking episodes in the show's history, so I can only complain but so much.

Yep, the Ice Dragon caught me unawares... terrific ending. I know what you mean about politics and planning... it seems like they are cramming stuff into a few episodes... this should easily have been at least 10 episodes. Episode 7 should be pretty full on. The Internet rumours aren't predicting a happy ending for Littlefinger.

Agreed. For the entertainment factor it's off the charts but it's been moving over things too quickly and as you mentioned has had some more plot holes or things that simply make no sense. There's no reason this shouldn't have been 10 episodes aside from the one that probably caused it to be shortened; the cost of producing it.

I'm actually thinking he makes it to the last season now. I don't think Arya will do him in this next episode. I actually think she will end up in King's Landing and something will go down.

What really intrigues me about the finale is that there are so many major and semi-major characters coming together and this talk of a "truce" certainly won't be as uneventful as it sounds.

Confirmed at King's Landing for the episode:

Cersei
Jaime
Tyrion
Jon
Varys
Bronn
Grey Worm and Unsullied
Dothraki

Probable:

Brienne
The Hound
Dany and her dragons
Euron
The Mountain

Possible:
Arya

Having an ice dragon give the night king the pure equivalent of a small nation a nuclear war head. This does not bold well for the members of the night watch and the folks at Winterfell.

I will be sad to see LittleFinger get snuffed out because I thought he was the one character who truly understands how to play the Game of Thrones..By the way, I hope we discover why he is named "Little Finger".

BB, who is the favorite behind Arya to kill Cersei, Jamie or Tryion?

Question, why did Dany say that Jon Snow was too "little" for her?

I'm thinking Jamie is odds on favourite!

I didn't catch Dany's comment - but she was in love with Dothraki man mountain previously!

Just seen the final episode.

I'm mixed on the last episode. Got to say, I was expecting a little more, but I blame myself for reading too many Internet rumours... some of which actually ruined it for me as they were pretty much on the money, so the element of surprise was taken away.

I'd still say it was good, but (relatively) by GoT standards, it was mediocre.

The two episodes before were epic.

It sets up everything up for Season 7 though.. just got to wait a year.

I don't want to say I'm disappointed in the episode but for maybe the first time I'm completely shocked by what didn't happen instead of what did happen.

The number one question I immediately had after the episode is how the hell is everything going to be settled in 6 episodes? The only issue I had with this season is that they may have moved too fast and it made some of the big events anticlimactic. The season was still great overall but it lacked some of the impact of other major scenes from previous seasons. That problem could be to a much greater degree for the last season now.

New season will debut April 14! Can’t wait.

It seems like it’s been FOREVER. I’m going to have to rewatch the previous season before the 14th.

I love all the GoT Vloggers on Youtube. Some of these guys are getting around 500,000 to a million views for their musings on the forthcoming season.
