SPOLER ALERT! DON'T READ UNLESS YOU'VE SEEN THE LATEST EPISODE!

The writers/producers were smart to show the squalid conditions of Margaery's cell before throwing Cersei into one. But don't let this be the end of Cersei! Yeah, she's a bitch. Sure, she's heartless(ish). But she keeps things in motion. The character you love to hate. Without her, it would be dull.

I hope this is a difficult ordeal for her to work her way out of, but ultimately I want her to prevail, and continue her gloriously wicked ways.

Was deadbeat from three days of tennis tournament when I got home yesterday but HAD to watch Episode 7 before going to bed.

Riveting! I don't thing I've ever watched a show where the scene changes but never lets up. Every story line is so interesting.

Don't read anymore if you haven't seen Episode 7 yet!

Samwise Tarly is no longer a virgin. "Oh my...' And it nice to see Ghost is there to protect him. And the Night's Watch Vows is maybe the most easily broken thing in the Seven Kingdoms.

Sansa is in hell. She's locked in her room, abused every night, covered in bruises, can't call for help, etc. I really thought we were going to see a new Sansa this season but not yet. This Sansa-Ramsay-Theon thing is going to blow up before the season is over me thinks. And I'm not a sadistic person by nature, but I wouldn't mind seeing Ramsay flayed. Slowly.

We saw a shot of Brienne looking at Winterfell. She looked like she had just been through a battle or something. Did anyone else notice that?

Stannis is in trouble. He still has the upper hand I think but if he doesn't get down to Winterfell soon, he may not have an army left. Nice to see him throw that red witch out of his tent after she suggested they sacrifice his daughter. How about sacrificing the red witch? Is she flammable? I know cold doesn't bother her but what about fire? More Dantos please.

So Jorah sees his Queen again. And Tyrion finally meets her. It's going to be interesting to see what happens between these three now. I LOL'ed when Tyrion was beating up that guy at the auction. And where the heck is Varys?

And down in Dorne, Brock (such a lovely voice, heard he sings in a band or something) was singing away and I thought "oh good he didn't get any poison" but then he starts choking and coughing and I thought "Noooooo not Bronn!" Thank god for antidotes. And Myrcella spurns Jaime. This is kind of a wasted mission now. And if Jaime goes back to King's Landing now, he'll probably get arrested too. No idea what's going to happen with these two.

Olenna and Baelish. These two could come up with some plan to get rid of this high-falutin' High sparrow. She knows how dangerous this guy is so she sure ain't going to be sitting around and eating prunes while he "cleanses" the city.

Cersei, Cersei, Cersei. So she's thrown in a cell and now waiting for trial I guess. And she's been sleeping around, guilty of incest, and she is also the mastermind behind King Robert's death. Unless she has some kind of backup plan, she's in big, big trouble. And Tommen is powerless so who? I think their rule is coming to an end. I did so enjoy that last scene where she was all pissed off. Hope she survives though. Trent likes his wicked women. ;)

Only three more episodes left! :popcorn

Absolutely amazing episode and you could kind of see this coming for Cersei. Reckless and not as smart as she thinks she is. Curious as to what will happen with all 3 of them, Cersei and the Tyrell's. And will Jaime and Bronn be on their way back to Kings Landing.

Good questions, but it's difficult to know with Martin -- a writer always prepared to jettison a key character. (But please not Cersei! :please: )

If the Lannisters are to survive, Jaime needs to get back ASAP. Tommen has zero chance on his own.

Of course, this is also what Littlefinger has been planning: the ruling family has been catastrophically weakened, ripe for takeover.

One aspect of last night's episode which made it so captivating was its inclusion of almost every key character. I think Arya was the only one missing ...

I'm really wanting to see some more White Walkers. It's high time they showed up again. Sam giving Jon the dragonglass may be a good sign.

Man.. I am going to watch this episode again just to hear Brock's lovely voice and Sam's "Oh, My"..(I got to finally answer who the most beautiful woman is,)..

I just have to say it, Lord Baelish is going for it all.. He isn't trying to be Warden of the North or whatever, Little Finger is trying to sit on the Iron throne. His moves are masterful and he is always 3 to 5 steps ahead of everyone else. Only Lord Varys may be capable of exposing him. A lot of everything that is currently happening was previewed or foretold I believe in Season 3 episode "the Climb".. I would suggest rewatch it again.

Small pet-peve but Cersei telling that woman "this will be the last face you see before your die" kinda gives away that she'll find a way out of this and has plenty of foreshadowing, which kinda kills the intrigue. Then again, you never know with this show.

Just strip me naked, throw me on a wrecking ball and call me Miley, that was crazy! I need to process everything before I can comment on that episode.

I'm already depressed that we only have two more episodes left before we wait another year. That said, that was quite a sensational episode.

The White Walker version of Darth Sidious raising up the new dead was especially creepy. Everything that happened before that last 20 minutes of amazingness was kind of overshadowed. I liked Tyrion's interaction with Daenerys and am still curious of what will happen with Cersei and the Tyrells.

SPOILERS IF YOUR HAVEN'T SEEN SEASON 5 EPISODE 8!

OK, I've had a bit of time to process what happened yesterday.

ARYA: This story seems slow and cut off from the rest of the story right now. Not sure where it's heading. I suppose it will lead up to something but right now it's slooooowwwwww. A man does not know what a girl is going to be doing.

CERSEI: Finally got to see Cersei all disheveled and powerless. The bouncer nun keeps whacking her with the confession spoon but she refuses. The sadist in me wants to see what Cersei is going to do to Bouncer Nun if she ever gets out of there. Doctor Frankenstein gives her no hope and only tells here that the work goes on. "The work" meaning the Mountain and whatever that creeoid maester is doing with the body. Jaime is in a Dorne cell as well. How the mighty have fallen. There's something tragic in seeing a person who was in such power to be stripped of everything. But I sincerely doubt this will be the end of Cersei. She will probably suffer something even more horrific before getting her position back.

SANSA AND THEON: So, Theon/Reek finally spills the beans to Sansa about Bran and Rickon. I still can't believe nobody was listening in on their conversation. Sansa honey sweetcakes, you'd better get outta there asap girl!

DAENERYS AND TYRION: So Tyrion becomes Daenerys' advisor while poor Jorah gets kicked out and signs up for the fighting pits again. I don't think Jorah is going to last the season. Daenerys and Tyrion finally team up and now we'll see what they can do together. Loved their conversation up in her room. Everything Tyrion says is interesting. Daenerys is ok. I can't help thinking she is in over her head and trying to act the part of the Dragon Queen who isn't one to be trifled with.

No Stannis, Devon, Melisandra, Jaime, Bronn, Sand Snakes, Brienne, Margaery or Tommen. But what came at the last 20 minutes of the episode pretty much made everything else irrelevant, small and petty.

JON: This is where this year's budget went into. What a scene! So he gets up to the wildlings camp and talks about 5000 of them to come with him. Everything is going ok when those dogs started barking. Then the mist/fog. I remembered the same mist/fog thing when Sam and his companions were attacked. I thought "Oh crap. They're here." Mass panic, thousands of wildlings killed. That giant was so awesome. When Jon was running to that cabin to get the dragon glass, the giant comes smashing out of the house, with wights crawling all over him. He picks them off like fleas and tears them apart. I thought the giant was going to eventually buy it (can you imagine a giant wight?), but he was stomping wights into the ground and finally just starting walking through the ocean. lol Is he going to the wall? He's too big to get through that tunnel isn't he?
I hated seeing that wildling woman who sent her two kids off ahead of her get killed. She was pretty cool.
And what do you know? Valarian Steel has the same power as dragon glass! I suspected it but it was cool when Jon stopped the White Walker's blade. That idiot White Walker had so many chances before to kill off Jon but toyed around with him for too long. Sam is no longer the only one to slay a White Walker now.
That Darth Sidius White Walker King was great looking. When he raised his arms, at first I thought he was going to freeze the ocean and the wights would just run after Jon's boat. But instead he showed Jon his power to raise the dead. So if I were Jon, I'd say forget fighting the wights and just go after the White Walkers. They know how to kill them now and I'm thinking that when they kill the White Walkers, especially Darth Sidius, the wights will just drop dead.
The whole scene had a World War Z vibe to it, especially the scene where the wights just went running off the cliff, piling up at the bottom and then getting back up. And boy they are fast. They must be British zombies. American zombies are slow and usually bumble around, but British zombies will come at you so fast.

So much to process. I've watched the episode maybe four times since yesterday. lol Only two more episodes before the long winter comes!
