I’ve said it over and over that Federer won’t be playing when Nadal equals and passes him, and here is RG 2020 and just like magic Federer disappears. I was right.
of course your always right that's why then you say nadal going to lose because you have a bad feeling I panic.

Literally only two people here respond to the Nadal trolls. Imagine hating a player so bad that you feel absolutely compelled to respond to borderline bots.

Just checked the recordbooks for the Hell of it and it looks as if Nole's just about to zip past Federer when looking at the overall record on grass! That save last season in the Wimbledon final pushed Nole just below Roger statistically due to RF's 13 losses to Noles 10 on the surface; Fed 88.6 (101-13) to Nole 87.8 (72-10)! It helps or/& hurts that Roger tends to play grass warmups when Nole skips them most of the time!

This is what happens when an older player decides to just hang on for the HELL of it not winning much; just being out there competing! I didn't think Roger would go the route of Connors or Sampras going months or years without winning a tourney! It's possible with him taking time to supposedly heal from arthiscopic knee surgery! Do we really think he can take time off again like this and come back strong enough to avoid upset early? :astonished-face: :thinking-face:

Coming fresh from the break, Roger would win Wimbledon and Olympics Singles. :cheerleader::cheerleader::sleep2:

Just because Novak is approaching Roger's win pct. on grass doesn't mean he's about to "zip" past Roger on the surface. Are you high? Win pct. per surface is one of the lower tie-breakers on the rung, don't you think? Plus, are you talking grass, or just Wimbledon? You mentioned both, so you're cross-polinating your stats.

Roger on Grass:
187-27
Win pct: .874
Titles: 19
Wimbledon titles: 8

Novak on Grass:
95-18
Win pct: .841
Titles: 6
Wimbledon titles: 5

Does this actually look close to you? I don`t even think extracting the win pct at Wimbledon matters. If you have 8 Wimbledon titles, it's just a lot better than 5.

Djokovic has torn Federer apart in 3 Wimbledon finals Djokovic will go down as a better grass court player if he gets to Federer Wimbledon titles of course Federer winning 5 in a row was great but weak era players take away from it a little bit.

The reason, I think, is that Roger is the most talented player to ever play tennis. Because of that, Roger seems to think that he can win by talent alone, but we all know that it is not is not easy anymore when you consider how physical the game has become. In addition to his age of course. You know from last year’s Wimbledon that Roger, with better luck, should have won the tournament, unless you were so sure that Roger was going to fluff two match points on his serve, on grass.

Please do us all a favour and just stop with the stupid comments. No one was torn apart in any of the Wimbledon finals between those 2. 13-12 in the fifth last year. 6-4 in the 5th in 2014? Is that what you call torn apart lol?! 2015 was the only one that didn't go to a 5th set but of the 4 played, 3 were very close. Go seek professional help.

Roger seems to think that he can win by talent alone

This is utterly ridiculous. Imagine thinking one of the most successful athletes of all time believes something so stupidly simplistic and off base. You think Roger doesn't know that he'd never been as successful, or as good at his advanced age, had he not put it a ridiculous amount of hard work, especially on the physical front? You don't think he's seen all the supremely talented players around him who failed to make any impact because they didn't put in the time?

Absurd.

I had already shut down "Nole Blog" figuring Roger had that final wrapped up last year; no addition needed! Fed should have closed it out, but past memories of matches against his successor stopped it! That was a colossal flip in history and inevitability and I appreciate Roger donating a much needed major to Djokovic! After 2017, Fed adding 3 majors, it seemed as if his lead was safe from at least Nole, but it's not to be with the kid running up on him with a clear mind and plenty of confidence in his own ability to overcome "hatahs" out there that applaud his every error or double fault! Fedal fans are just as classless as any it seems! :thinking-face:

I am not sure if you even understood the sentence you quoted. I said he seems to think, which means I could be wrong. Don’t rush to criticize before understanding what was said. So you think I don’t know that Roger needs to do the hard yards to succeed? Yes, Roger is the most talented player to ever play the game and if he had Rafa’s physicality, he would be virtually unbeatable.

I agree that some Fed fans can be unfair to Djokovic. In fact I have never understood why they sometimes applaud when Djokovic double faults. I may have some reasons not to like Djokovic, for example when his mother once said that the king was dead, referring to Federer. Over time, however, his parents have understood that they have to talk less because they are public figures. Their behavior may have made their son a target.

I don't think it was Nole being in Roger's head that made him blow those MPs...it was getting tight in the face of a big late-career win, IMO. He's blown some leads in big moments over the last couple of years. It's started happening to Rafa more, too. (He was tight the whole of the USO final, and it surely was about facing Medvedev...it was the moment and the opportunity.) I daresay, the same will start to happen to Novak, too.

Some Fed fans? It was nearly the whole fucking crowd. Not only fed fans.
some Experts here in this forum would do the same.
You really think it has to do with a sentence his mother said years ago? That in the mind of these sheeps ?

He gave them the best answer possible, classy was the fact he did not celebrate his win. He went to the handshake with Roger like it was the end of a training session.
