One of my favorite actors has departed. I'll always remember Alan Rickman for playing the villain Hans Gruber in Die Hard. Another victim of cancer, he was 69.

My all time favorite Eagles tune, which was all Glenn Frey. He wrote Peaceful Easy Feelin', Lyin Eyes, Tequila Sunrise, Already Gone, Heartache Tonight and so many more. He co-wrote their breakthrough hit with Jackson Browne, Take It Easy, and co-wrote with Don Henley (who he founded Eagles with) Desperado, Best of my Love, Hotel California, Life in the Fast Lane, The Long Run and many others. May he rest in peace.
Quick edit--I read an article that suggests Frey co-wrote songs that I thought he alone wrote. No matter--they are still great tunes.

Rip Bud Collins..I had the opportunity to meet Bud several times, extremely nice man, I always remember drinking a beer with in Miami and debating who was gonna win Miami (I said Pete ,Bud's pick was Patrick Rafter):celeb: my friend for being nice to a cocky kid at South Beach.
