Simo breaks in the 8th game (a long one too) of the first set to even the match 4-4, she then proceeds to hold at love for 5-4 lead. Breaks yet one more time to rally and take the first set 6-4

I think Piro is just about done. It should be a quick second set for Simo. Lets see what happens.

Halep had better take advantage of the draw. Power players who could have blown her off the court were in the other half.

Watched ten minutes of Woz vs Cornet. The latter is playing a dumb match. Why is she trying to hit through Woz? If she brings Woz to net, she has a good chance of winning. The coach should be telling her that.
