Karen was injured a couple of weeks ago, when he pulled out of Marseille.
Most likely he is still not fit.

Its a way out because only one other player has 100th titles so federer fans will say its because federer nerve-wracking 100th title that he lost a match, their still use age thing as well.

Find me one post where a Fed fan or anyone else attributes his struggles to him being nervous about getting his 100th title. Work harder on your troll game.

Do you actually think that Federer is distracted by trying to win #100? Or are you just trying to say that Fed fans use it as an excuse for poor play? I don't think either is true. And FB and Twitter have nothing to do with the conversations here.

I was talking about all federer fans not just the ones on this forum, then I said that regardless of if they are on this forum, or not they do use the 100th title thing with federer and the age thing is used on this Forum always.
You can't judge all Federer fans by the same standards as that's a vast over-generalisation. They're all different. A lot of them do speak about the 100th title & age is spoken about a lot because when people get older they're not always as fit & capable as when they're younger. Longevity has been spoken about a lot here with regards to longevity of tennis players. Longevity of tennis players is only touching the surface of the topic of longevity though as longevity as a whole is a much broader & more complex subject.

"Federer is ancient for a tennis player." Fact. I'm as greedy a fan as there is but even I'm not nuts enough to expect him to win a lot of big events at this point.
"Federer is struggling because he is nervous about getting #100." Speculation, and idiotic speculation at that. I might as well say Nadal got destroyed in AO final because he is engaged.

So Fed needed 3 sets again to win the match. Anyone saw it? I don't have tennis channel and it sucks now that matches are not on ESPN3 anymore. I effin even tried the espn+ and tennis channel app on Roku, both are pathetic and waste of money

I saw some of the 2nd and 3rd. Verdasco starting getting into Roger's serve, at the same time that Fed's FH got shaky and he was getting under-confident with it. The 3rd, Verdasco was still playing really well, but serving from behind. Roger got better again, broke at the last then served it out. Kind of like yesterday, from what I saw and read here...got wobbly in the middle. BTW, the commentators said it's only the 2nd set Verdasco has taken off of Roger, but I didn't look it up.
