Have you officially migrated over to the Djokovic fan club or do you require an invite from the top cheerleaders( herios and the others).,Probably a good time to jump ship from the old bandwagon and ride of the popular ship
To be fair, it was only a week ago that Front shut up about the egg.

Since the officials won't do anything about the egg what's the point even discussing it. Seems they can't even test for it anyway same as Argon or Xenon gas. Still don't approve of it but nothing can and will be done about it. I like his tennis anyway even if I don't approve at all how he improved his cardio literally overnight with this thing.

:cover I thought you stopped your rants because there's no empirical evidence that any of the claims made by the Egg's creators are even true. That's why those crunchy granola folks are going bankrupt. If the thing worked beyond a placebo effect, they'd be selling them hand over foot. Instead they are living in a trailer park. :snicker
El Dude said:Meditation is not placebo. It has a lot of research behind it, Kieran, that shows its effect on stress and overall health and well-being.
That said, the "placebo effect" is largely just the mind's ability to engage in the healing process.
Kieran said:Nick against Stan, that'll be a one to see. If I was Nicks coach, of course, I would recommend endless sledging. Walking past at the change of ends, for example, mutter into the towel, "My mate Kokk woulda banged the ball harder than you, mate."
Jolly, merry stuff like that. Make that crybaby CRY! :cry

Oh brother, I'm only teasing Novak's dilettantish qualities. Certain meditations are harmful, and certain ones effective. The placebo effect has been shown in some circumstances to be effective - funny enough - even when people are aware that they're taking a placebo...
EDIT: a new book regarding this, which I read about the other day...

I've heard of that book - I think they were talking about it on public radio. Looks good.
But yeah, good old Novak.

Its like when a tennis couch says to a player, "here, take this pill - it will help you recover faster." But the
pill is just sugar, but somehow it has physical benefits because the tennis player believes it has special qualities, perhaps like the qualities of certain substances he may or may not have previously taken.
